Ava didn't know what she was going to do if her plan didn't work out. If it didn't work out, her friends would he upset at her, and they had always looked to her for ideas in the past. She just really hoped it worked. The glass jar was huge, it pretty much took up her whole desk area. It was round and clear, just like any other glass jar, and it had a big lid also.
As she stared at the big glass jar that night, unable to sleep, Ava thought of it as her jar of worries. It contained all of her thoughts:
Will this work out?
What if it doesn't?
What if Robin was right?
What if one of us really does die?
What is The Darkness really?
What if nothing happens?
What if we cant get The Darkness to go into the jar?
Is the jar even big enough?
And the list went on and on. It never ended. She suddenly wished everything could go back to the way it was before. Where she didn't have to worry of tomorrow she would never wake up, or if anyone she cared for would die, or if one of her quickly thought up plan would really work or not.
Ava was scared. This whole time, she had been trying to convince herself that she wasn't, when she really was. She knew her friend were scared too, but she had never been scared before in her life. At least not like right now. Right now she was trying to come up with a better plan, that might not cost one of her friend's life.
After a while, she finally went to sleep and experienced a very real, very vivid dream. .

She swims as fast as she can, but to no avail. He's right behind her. He had one of her friends, and wasn't offering them back. He was the deadliest thing she had ever seen, and was much worse up close. He had hands, and blood red eyes. His voice was so loud, you couldn't hear anything else when he would speak.
As she swims, she tries to think of a safe place to hide. At least to get it off of her trail. She knows she absolutely can not go to where her fiends were hiding, ready to attack. The plan wasn't going to work, she knew that. They all had tried once, and that had failed big time. She also knew that even though they now had some extra help it still wouldn't work.
No matter what anyone did, The Darkness could never be stopped. Those were the words that came from the dolphin when everyone had first heard about it, but she was to stupid to actually look into them, dig through, and look for their really meaning.
Now, here she was, running in shear terror from the indestructible Darkness, with no plan to escape. . .

Ava sits up in her bed, gasping for breath. What had the dream meant? Was it true, would her plan really not work out? Where they doomed for ever? Looking over to her bedside clock, she saw that it was 6:45am. Great, well, might as well get up, it's not like I will be able to go back to sleep.
Getting out of her bed, she swims over to her kitchen to get something to eat. While she's eating, the weird dream keeps coming back to her thought. Was that me, or someone else? But the thought over running them all was, Is that really going to happen?
Ava sighs and looks over at the jar that may or may not work. Her Jar of Worries. She mentally adds the dream to the jar and heads out to meet her friends anxious to see what the day will bring.
