“Well, we went to the vegan diner I was telling you about. Which I had no idea Lucas wasn’t a veggie person-” she said, before going into detail and telling me all about her date. I let her words and the busy work keep me busy so I wouldn’t think about Scotty or leaving.

“He doesn’t seem like he would be.” I laughed and she giggled.
“He’s more of a meat and potatoes kind of bear but you should have seen his face looking at the menu. We had fun though and he tried something new.”
“And then what happened after?” I grinned, looking over at her.
“We went back to the hotel and well-” she trailed off with a blush before covering her face. “It’s been a long time for me.”
