The Sweet Taste of Betrayal

CHAPTER ONE : CITY CHILDREN'S HOME Emma Jane a beautiful girl of about three years old sitting at the conner of her room, the room she shares with other kids of about two to five years old, Mrs Kate an old lady of 55 years who is the caretaker of Emma Jane's room is seen reading a comic story for all the children but Emma Jane was totally not interested in whatsoever was going on around in the world of humans. Emma was used to her comfortable life in her parents mansion but woke up one day after what seemed like an accident and found herself in this old building she had believed the world had abandoned her all the good people she knew had left her all alone by herself. Slowly after staying in the City childrens Home ( orphanage Emma Jane lives in) for a year and five months Emma Jane began to forget about any world outside the orphanage all the faint memories she had about her life before the orphanage began to fade until nothing was left in her small brain. Emma Jane was a sweet little girl who was loved by all the staffs in the children's Home. Mrs Kate loved Emma as she would love her child. She always prayed for Emma Jane to be adopted by a good and rich family. Emma Jane was always looking forward to Mr Douglas visits he visited the Children's Home twice a week he was in his mid 40s, Mr Douglas always buy gifts,books, chocolates and toys for Emma he was the sweetest person Emma had meet all her life at the Children's Home, Mr Douglas has been secretly monitoring Emma Jane since the very first day she was brought to the Children's Home. He knew Emma Jane was the perfect girl to help him settle his long term grudges with the Stones, he was willing to go any length to bring down Jimmy stones and his entire Empire. Mr Douglas decided to adopt Emma Jane on her fifth birthday ( the day she was brought to the orphanage was her birthday day, same to any child brought to the City childrens Home), Emma's adoption into a new home was her fifth birthday gift Mrs Kate was more than happy that her sweet little Emma Jane was finally going to settle down in a well known family, Emma was happy to follow her new Father home but she was going to miss mrs kate and her best friend Elisa whom she meet at City children's Home. Emma cried her eyes out. She loved the place that sheltered and feed her when the whole world was against her but she was happy she was going to live with the man who always loves and buys her gifts. The drive from City Children's Home to the Douglas villa was about two hours drive. Emma was bewildered by the sight outside; she had never left the walls of the orphanage. The Douglas villa was indeed a wonderful sight, the villa was big and beautiful, Emma could not believe she was going to live in this space for the rest of her life. Mr Douglas live-in girlfriend Samantha (Sam) who had tattoos and piercings all over her body unlike Mr Douglas who looked like a real gentleman always looking smart and handsome in his suits and all the staffs of the Douglas villa were present to welcome Emma Jane into her new home, Emma was flagger basted by the warm welcome she received. Emma Jane had two personal caretakers, she had a room painted and decorated in royal blue and white colors, Emma was wowed by her walk- in closet which was filled to the brim with designer and expensive clothes and accessories. Emma Jane was invited down stairs for dinner by old Anna one her personal caretakers Emma Jane was confused to see blackout everywhere she was beginning to get scared trying to run and hide behind the couch until she was surprised by a loud noise singing happy birthday to her the lights we on and in front of her stands a huge beautiful Frozen themed cake Emma was so happy she could not keep calm deep down praying for the dream not to end because everything seems too good to be true, the Douglas and few of their family friends where there to celebrate Emma the new addition into the family. Emma had lots of chocolate and ice cream for dessert, Emma almost passed away with joy when she learned that she could choose whatever she wanted to eat unlike in the City childrens Home the children had to eat whatever was on the food Time table and the time table was reviewed twice a year. Emma wished Elisa was here with her but she knew she was going to ask her to come for a visit. Emma Jane received lots of gifts from Douglas and other visitors that came to celebrate her birthday. Emma Jane was reluctant to go to bed because she did not want this beautiful dream to end but old Miss Anna had persuade d Emma to go to bed by promising her she was going to show her round the Douglas villa and will ask the general chief to bake a delicious white chocolate and peanut butter cookies for Emma, she was so happy to hear that but only agreed to go to bed after she had unwrapped all her birthday gifts, she had never seen this much wrapped gifts before all her life. With the help of old Miss Anna Emma Jane unwrapped all her birthday presents she loved all of them but kept few aside which she intended to give Elisa to her best friend whom she liked a lot. Emma wore her frozen themed pajamas to bed, old Miss Anna read a bedtime story for a story about a princess who never listened to anyone she disrespected all the place servants and maids one day an old witch transformed into an old maid and warned the naughty princess not to go out of the palace but the naughty princess refused listening and went out of the place to a nearby stream to bath after her bath on her way back to the palace she got lost the old witch had cursed the princess to wander in the wild for years until she changes her naughty character she will never find her way home Zzzz zzzzz zzzzzz zzzzz Emma jane already sleeping tired from the day's activities.
