I glanced across the crowd of Wolves who gathered in the largest lounge of the Packhouse, nervously twisting the hem of my dress sleeve as I finished recounting my memory of the attack - of bringing King back to life. Jace and Jax flanked me, their arms crossed over their chests, quiet sentinels of support and strength for me. I spotted Callum hiding in the back corner, fear still darkening his eyes, but I was glad he showed - meaning he wasn't completely terrified of me for the destruction I'd caused.
