I paced in front of the Pack house gates, Zena whining like a child in my head, trying to call out to Jace and Jaxon. They had been so quiet - gone for so long. The windows of our bond were closed, a storm thundering on the other side that matched the turmoil I felt inside. Another four Wolves were brought back, needing my attention and I found myself humming nonstop, something about the noise soothing those around me. Soothing me. I was worried, scared, and by the time I'd finished with the last Wolf, Akira and Mabel had said they had it handled, that I should go home. But, I couldn't. Not without knowing everyone came back.
