Poppy’s P.O.V Darkness settled over the land long before Ashton and I had made it home. The house looked completely dark as we pulled up the drive. The middle console was the only light within the car, 2:00am shone dimly on the screen as we turned off the vehicle. My dad was long in bed, and more than likely he had moved the bassinet into the guest room with him in order to give us some privacy. We were incredibly late getting home after all. Ashton helped me out of the car, unlocking the door as we walked inside. I lifted my head nervously and sniffed the air. No new scents. Good. I nodded to Ashton who flicked the light on, beginning to wind down from the crazy day we had. Meanwhile, I made myself a tea and changed into my pyjamas. It wasn’t long before Ashton joined me in the bedroom
