A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
~Elsa~
I stared blankly at my phone, Stella's messages kept pinging relentlessly. I seriously do not need this right now but I know she's trying to calm me down.
“Come on Elsa, you are my friend and I can't lie to you, it will be fun I promise. You need to get out of that house and take your mind off things.”
“Things?”, that's what she called it. My ex James, cheating on me with my own cousin. I couldn't forget the words I heard from her when I badged in on them. “...Oh my days!...fuck me harder James baby…oh…good…faster..oh..yeah..I love you James.”
I felt so disgusted, the pain still felt like fresh wounds but Stella was right. I really need a distraction.
“Are you still there Elsa, you aren't responding to my chat.” I saw Stella's last message after snapping out of my own thoughts.
“Yes, I'm still here.”
“Let's go to the party,” I typed, already regretting my answer. “But just for a few hours and don't expect me to dance or anything ridiculous like that.”
My friend Stella sent back a string of excited emojis and promised to pick me up at 8pm. It was then I remembered I didn't have anything to wear and she had gone offline immediately. I sighed and tossed my phone aside wondering what I had gotten myself into.

We stepped out of the car and onto the mansion's driveway.
The sound of laughter and music filled the air as I looked up at the big, beautiful mansion. The windows shone with a warm, golden glow. People wore fancy masks and costumes, and they sparkled in the light of the torches along the driveway.
A woman in a shiny silver mask laughed as she danced by me. Her dress twinkled like diamonds. Nearby, a man in a black mask sipped champagne, his eyes scanning the crowd with a playful glint.
“Come on, let's go.” Stella said, as she dragged me into a makeshift dressing room, where we checked through racks of costumes and masks. I settled on a sleek black dress and a silver mask that covered my face, while Stella opted for a bright pink wig and a glittering peacock mask.
As we made our way through the crowds, I felt a strange sense of liberation. No one knew who I was, and I could be anyone I wanted for the night.
I was starting to feel like I made the right decision coming here.
Stella vanished into the throng, leaving me alone at the bar. I ordered a drink. I felt that alcohol is what I needed right now, I just wanted to forget my pain, to forget what had happened earlier today. I sipped it slowly taking in the sights and sounds.
I noticed that many people came with their boyfriends and of course their girlfriends enjoying the flower of romance.
I glared at them and shook my head, I was once the love of his life and he adores me, he dotes on me and promises me heaven and earth.
But now..I sniffled and swallowed hard, a lone tear dropped. I took a deep breath and nodded my head, “No, I will not think about it anymore. I swear I won't.”
I took another sip of my drink but this time I gulped down three shots at once and ordered that the bartender make another one for me.
A scene of myself with James flashes through my mind but this time it wasn't me it was my cousin who had broken the trust I once had for her.
“No..no…” I screamed, grabbing another shot again. I stood up and fell back into my seat. It was then I realized that the drink had gotten to me. No one around seems to care and Stella is nowhere to be found.
The music pulsed through the air, and I could hear people laughing and chatting.
I stood up again and opened my eyes but everything appeared double before me.
I staggered backwards but managed to stand straight this time around before I heard someone call out to me.
I turned and I saw him. Tall, broad shouldered, and wearing a simple black mask that seemed to gleam in the darkness.
“Hey there, beautiful. May I have this dance?” He asked, his voice smooth and low.
“No”, I didn't hesitate and replied him immediately.
“Oh, come on, it seems you are really drunk,” he chuckled, still staring at me and waiting for my response.
“And who exactly are you?,” I asked him, still holding a shot of alcohol in my hands and trying to take a sip from it.
“Just a nice guy trying to help you out of your drunken state.” He said with a smirk on his face and immediately snapped out the drink from my hands and held me before I missed my steps.
“Everyone here is having fun except for you,” he continued and he was actually right. I felt alone here because I couldn't stop thinking about my ex.
I glared at him, trying to focus on his face. But my vision was blurry, and his features seemed to blend together.
"Hey, watch it!" I slurred, trying to push him away. But he held me firm, his hands wrapped around my waist.
"Whoa, easy there," he said, his voice calm and soothing. "I'm just trying to help."
I looked up at him, my eyes narrowing. But his mask hid his face, making it impossible to read his expression.
"What's your name?" I asked, my words slurring together.
"My name is not important," he replied, his voice low and mysterious. "What's important is getting you out of here before you hurt yourself."
I tried to protest, but he swept me off my feet and carried me out of the mansion. The cool night air hit me like a slap in the face, making me feel slightly more alert.
He set me down on the grass, holding me steady as I swayed. I looked up at him, my eyes locking onto his mask.
"Why are you helping me?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
He smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Maybe I just like helping beautiful women in distress," he said, his voice dripping with charm.
I rolled my eyes, trying to play it cool. But my body had other plans. I stumbled forward, my lips crashing into his.
He kissed me back, his mouth hot and demanding. I felt a rush of excitement, my body responding to his touch.
He pulled back immediately and I didn't know why, I could feel his gaze on me. “You're playing with fire and you will get burned.” He said and I couldn't help but smile. “I really do not mind,” I responded and crashed my lips back on his.
We stumbled backward, our lips still locked together. I felt the world spinning around me, but I didn't care. All I cared about was the feel of his lips on mine, the touch of his hands on my skin.
We ended up in a hotel room, our clothes scattered all over the floor. I didn't remember how we got there, but I didn't care. All I cared about was the feel of his body on mine, the touch of his skin on my skin.
As he entered me, I held him close, urging him to go slow. I moaned in pleasure as he moved inside me. “Tell me if it's too much,” he whispered as he began to deepen it. At this moment I realized I didn't want him to move slowly. I wanted more..I wanted all of him..
“Please I gasped,” wrapping my legs around him, urging him to move deeper. “I need you.”
“f**k,” he groaned as he pushed inside, his head dropping to the crook of my neck. The sensation of him inside me was everything I needed.
We moved together in perfect sync, his deep slow thrusts making me moan with every stroke. But the need for more took over. He gripped my hips tightly driving into me harder, faster, his thrusts driving us both closer to the edge.
We made love still wearing our masks, our bodies moving together in perfect sync. I felt a rush of pleasure, my body responding to his touch in every way. My nails dug into his back, leaving marks as I clung to him, lost in the intensity.
He was relentlessly pushing me higher and higher until I was on the brink of losing control. I was close…so so close.
“Come for me,” he whispered, his voice so raw.
With one final thrust I shattered around him, my body convulsing in pleasure so intense, I thought I might explode. After that he collapsed beside me. It felt so good as we lay there, our bodies entwined, I felt a sense of peace wash over me.
For the first time in hours, I forgot about James, forgot about my cousin, forgot about everything except the feel of this stranger's body on mine.
I drifted off to sleep, my body exhausted but my mind at peace. It was the best time of my life.
I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I groggily reached for it and saw Stella's name flashing on the screen. My eyes widened as memories of the pr
evious night came flooding back.
"Oh... s**t," I muttered, sitting up in bed. “I totally forgot about Stella.”
