A DAY TO REMEMBER
Lisa smiled to herself as she looked down at her notes for her class at the foundation. She chewed on her pen, savouring her moment with Johnson the week before. He had called her during the week to ask her out, but she told him again that she’d think about it. What if getting involved with him was a risk to her heart? It wasn’t like he was innocent. He was a player, but she understood his need for control, given his abandonment issues. She had those same issues because of her father’s emotional abuse.
