CHAPTER 19 FULL DISCLOSURE Lisa rose from the seat and stood with her back to Eddie. I don’t know the full facts. Maybe I’m being too judgemental, but I feel I owe it to Johnson. Maybe she should talk to Johnson before speaking to his father. She thought she was betraying her friend by being here with Eddie. Lisa was not the type to be closed about things. She was usually open about what was on her mind and, goddammit, she’d speak the truth if it killed her. Turning back to him, she placed both hands on her cheek. “I don’t know if we should be working together.” Eddie nodded as if resigning himself to her statement. “This is a professional situation, Lisa, not a personal one. I’d rather we keep the two separate. Besides, you cannot possibly know the situation from all those years ago.”
