CHAPTER 26 MYSTERY MAN Lisa hugged her body tight as she took in the panoramic views of the Melbourne skyline and Port Phillip Bay along the St Kilda Pier. She intently watched passers-by stroll hand in hand, others cycling or rollerblading across the bridge, and some even chasing after toddlers with a chuckle. The gentle wind feathered her hair and brought her a measure of calm amid her chaos. Lisa needed a time-out to enjoy the water’s edge and be close to nature, taking a break from her city worries.
