CHAPTER 8: POLITICAL WATERS Victor got up that morning and looked at the map of Nigola in front of him. By now, the activities of the soldiers roaming the hinterland and killing everyone had been minimized. Somehow, someway, he and the Rastafari had grown very powerful and established a sort of peace in Western Nigola. It was not a total peace but at least, people were not as afraid or scarred as before. To put it in another way, the violence was minimized and people felt more secure.
