Real life, 2010 to present: surgery (I lived), new friends some of whom didn’t last, a few volunteer positions, which are ongoing. I have been at the Friends of the Library bookstore for over five years, and have rescued books from the dumpster, or rain, or rats…sometimes you want to offer a free spider with every book. The price has more than doubled! They started at a dime and are now a quarter. A coworker has been giving me many opportunities to work on not reacting to negativity or criticism…I’ll post a few entries from my then Live Journal as typical of the times or when I had a light bulb over the head moment.
