Chapter 17As Emma walks over to meet Angie Byers on Friday, she wonders if Angie will actually be there. Just because she had confirmed a date and time doesn’t mean she’ll be ready and waiting when Emma arrives. In fact, Emma told Sarah she’d probably be home in a few minutes, though not to worry if she wasn’t. Who knows? Maybe Hannah Byers will see her at the door and invite her in this time. Emma hopes she will — she wants to see Hannah’s quilts.
