Chapter 35: ThwartedDavid closed the door on Jerry's scowl and the basement Boardroom knowing that he had upset Jerry and Priscilla again. They had waylaid him after dinner and spoiled his plans with Ardith.
“We need to have another session now. If it is successful, we'll do training tomorrow morning. You can join the two of us and Charles then.” Jerry's arm rested lightly on his shoulder as they walked, but David knew Jerry could have propelled him along had he wished.
