Angel After waking up, Seth was still sleeping, so I got dressed and went quietly out the door. I swung over to my ship and up to the wheelhouse. "Don't give me that look and please summon Sam up here" I said to Skylar, who was vibrating with excitement. She shrugged and went to go get her. Once Sam was up there, I pulled down the map and gave her the rundown of what we were going to be doing as soon as we were near Devils Port. Once she had the method down, I went on deck. Seth was already walking around his ship with a smile. It was funny how Rex had to do a double take. Just then, Eve shook my shoulder to get my attention. "How may I help Eve?" I asked. "There is a problem with supplies. The chef isn't happy. She seems to think we should port up before we carry out the plan." Eve replied. "I will help recount our supplies and make a decision." I waved Skylar over and we headed underneath. Seth had seen us disappear and jumped over to our ship. "What's going on?" He asked as soon as he joined the group in the galley. "We might be a bit short on supplies so we are recounting to see if we need to stop or if we will be okay." Skylar answered. "We can help, cover supplies if needed but it might be a good idea to port up anyway as once we do this we might have to skip a few." Seth offered. I would be the first to admit that with Seth standing so close, I started fangirling a little bit and the wink he flashed me did nothing to cool the warming of my face. So the fleet stopped at the port before the plan and we loaded up. My team ran for supplies while Seths looked for a boxing tournament. I ran down to the shops to find something to make my voice louder. I found one sitting on the ground next to a stool and used the good ole five finger discount and liberated it. Once back to the ship and with everyone boarded, we left yelling Skullyfully yours and Ghosting you. Seth We are approaching the port where everything is supposed to go down and both crews are buzzing with excitement. We see the shoreline and the wooden docks that are holding all the ships, including the one that has my uncle's Navy ship. All the crew mates that are participating lined up at the railing. Angel brought the artifact to the railing to place it on the pedestal that would be laminated as we pass by. We got closer to the port and I could see my uncle on the dock welcoming the seamen who would be joining him on the chase for us. Some family reunion. With Angel's signal, we straightened up at the railing and pulled our pants down. That's right. Both crews collectively mooned the port we stole the artifact from and the best part is that the statue can be seen on the ship, glittering gold. After a few minutes, we hear a hoot and hollering from the port and we are all laughing with red faces from being bent over. My uncle looked like he was giving birth to a bovine. I laughed as he tripped over his feet to board his ship. I signaled for us to take off and the rest of the crews pulled up their pants and high fived anyone around that they could reach. It was great and now we have to run. We got about four ports out when Angel had us switch directions to throw my uncle off. It was a genius maneuver. My uncle will be going in circles forever. Skylar and Rex are at the wheels of the ships. So I picked up Angel and carried her to my cabin. Once in my cabin, I put her down. I locked the door and walked her to my bed. She smiled at me and sat down. I sat behind her and started giving her a back and arms massage. She moaned in relief and I chuckled. I kissed her neck and said congratulations on the win. She looked at me and said "Honestly, I am not looking forward to being on the run. I hate the thought of my people being at risk because of my shenanigans. I understand that they signed up for this and everything, but it doesn't stop the guilt. They are now criminals because of me." Angel confessed. "It's not the first time for my crew and even a few of yours. As you said, they signed up for this, so you owe it to them to give them an awesome adventure and roll with the waves. Whatever happens, we will be together." I explained. She smiled and gave me a hug. We then laid down and fell asleep. The next morning, we woke up at the same time because Rex yelled "Storm brewing Captains, What is our course?" Seth and I ran up to the wheel to map out the storm and to figure the best way around it. Unfortunately, we were already in the storm so there was no absolute avoidance, but we did manage to go around so there weren't any waves over the side of the ship. When we finally came out the other side, there was a rainbow. Angel was so excited. It was her first one without her parents. Shortly after giving me a hug, she jumped back to her ship to fangirl with Skylar. I miss her already. I found Rex in the galley and he informed me John was behind the wheel. We ate our breakfast and laughed about the devil's port. "I gotta tell you, I think you got lucky. Angel is one of a kind and she's creative. I admire her spunk." Rex aired. I laughed and said "You have no idea how lucky I feel."
