Ch. 13 Revenge

Angel

I woke up with Seth snoring in my ear, while feeling the gentle rocking of the ship. I climbed out of bed without waking Seth and got dressed. The smell of pine in the room reminded me that this isn't my ship and I miss my things. As I walked out onto the deck, Skylar came to find me and took me to the galley. Rain had already cooked a major breakfast fit for a king and only had one helper. She is amazing and I am so glad she is on my crew. She could make a five star meal out of berries from the forrest.

We were sitting at the table catching up on news, when Virgo came and sat down. Without realizing it, we ended up having a full-blown meeting that ended up being more productive than expected ones. Once the meeting closed, I went up to the wheel and talked to Leo about the new plan and asked Rex who was keeping him company to inform Seth about the revisions. Rex took off to talk to Seth and Leo changed course to StarScar Island while we just chatted until it was my turn.

I took the wheel from Leo when it was my shift. I thought it was going to be boring, but the entire crew took turns coming to visit while I was driving. Most likely taking advantage of the fact I couldn't run away. It was nice meeting some of the Relation Ship's crew. For example, Taurus seemed nice. He had been the cook/nutritionist for them since Leo bought the ship. Libra was the one who did all the mending. From pants all the way to the sails and she learned from her mother who was a seamstress for nobility. Scorpio was inpressivly scarey. That guy was constantly thinking of war strategies. I could learn a few things from him.

We pulled up to StarScar Island and it feels like just yesterday that we were here. Seth walked up behind me and kissed my neck. "Feels like we were just here." Seth whispered in my ear. He still wasn't wearing a shirt, the only thing he was wearing was a pair of jeans. None of the other women were looking at him out of respect for me. Skylar was hugging Rex as Leo's crew lowered the anchor and pulled out the small boats we needed to use to get to shore. The ship was too big to safely bank and unbank, so small boats it is. We walked the short walk to where the treasure was supposed to be, only to notice the entire area was different. For starters, Ted was there laughing like this was the funniest joke ever told.

"I don't understand why you came here" I yelled, so he could hear me over the three crews we brought and his crew working on tearing down the camp they must have been using until we got here. "This is where you had your first failure. You failed to get the book that was hidden here and if you look behind me you will see your ships about to be set on fire. I ran past him yelling at this new crew to stop in the name of Captain Angel and they ignored my orders, so my crew rushed them and fought so that they couldn't start the fire to take the ships out. Once the fight was over and his crew were tied up, they were lined up and questioned. Anyone that turned on them became part of my crew. Any that remained loyal would be killed either by Seth or Leo. Finally, it was time to deal with Ted.

Seth

Never again will I deal with this man. It all ends now. He is down on his knees while being tied up. As usual he is predictably pleading for his life. I will not give in and I will get justice for that poor fifteen year old. As I stood over him I ordered Rex to bring my tattoo pen out of the galley. I tattooed "r****t" on his head and slit his throat. Then I hung the body from two of the trees off to the side. Skylar pained his nails pink in honor of his victom. Grey tore his pants and cut off his stick but left the berries, using a rag so he didn't touch it. He threw it in the celabratory fire, rag and all. "There now he wont hurt anyone else." Grey declared.

They drank after they went through the ships to make sure all was well. Angel ended up burning all of her clothes and bedding seeing as how my uncle used her room to sleep in and was gross about it. There were crusty stains all over the place. She grabbed everything she was using on the borrowed ship. "I am glad we decided to sell the ship we can tow it to the next port and sell it to whoever wants it." Angel said while gathering the last of the papers. I picked up the heavy stuff and with a heavy breath mumbled that it would be better to have one of the new crew run it but the maitinence was too rich for our blood and I agreed to get rid of it.

Angel and I made our way back to her ship which was safely put on the water. "I just want to finish the statue get it to where it belongs then move on to put my Ruby in a crown and mess with a ton of people." I nodded my head and put her stuff down by her bed. "I think we should reconsider the ship situation. We did good with all of us on one ship... " Angel giggled and replied "yeah it was fun thats something we can talk about after this." I kissed her goodnight and went to my cabin on my ship as I hadn't done that yet.

I turned on the lights and standing on my map table was the staute Angel had been trying to construct, all in tact, every last peice. "Well at least the peice of s**t did something right." I mumbled to myself. I sat there thinking on how to tell her that my uncle ruined the adventure we were running. She was going to be so hurt.
