Angel

The next day, Leo burst through the door. "The crew have the base and the reason the maps weren't the same." I pulled the sheet up to cover my chest while Seth put his hands behind his head as if he was proud. I sat there waiting for Leo to realize what had just happened. It was a solid thirty seconds before he came to the realization that he had walked in on us in the nude. "Oh, oh my, I am just going to wait for you downstairs." He awkwardly stated and left the room. Seth started laughing while pulling me up to his chest. "How long should we make him wait?" Seth asked. I kissed him and responded. "Not too long as I want to know why my map was wrong. Nothing tears my sails like wrong information."

I found Leo in the crowded lobby of the hotel we were staying in. "Explain", I said, as soon as I reached him. Virgo gave me a sympathetic look and stepped closer. "They were intending on luring you so they could catch and kill you." They intentionally gave your parents the wrong map. Knowing it would get into your hands, hoping you would come to them, to kill you for not marrying their loser lord." She explained. Not even needing to turn around to know Seth was pissed. I turned to the crew and motioned them to get out the door.

We walked down to the guy with our ships. He looked rather nervous. Seth and Leo surrounded him without speaking, and he looked like he was about to cry. "Please don't kill me." He begged as he dropped to his knees. My stomach dropped. "Where are our ships?" I asked with anger dripping from my tone. "Commander Theodore came with his fleet and took them, saying that you were all to be hung and that anyone aiding you would be labeled a scallywag and be hung as well. Seth and Leo grabbed his arms and pinned his arms down. "How are you planning on compensating us for our loss?" I asked as I pointed my cutlass at him. "I have a ship you can use to catch up with him. It's yours and it should be big enough to hold the entire crew," he declared. I gave the men a look and Seth cut off his left hand. "If you dare steal from us again, I will take your other hand." Seth spat at him. We then walked to the ship in question and boarded.

Once we left port, Leo and Virgo went to take inventory of the ship and the crew set out to do their task. All three crews were planning out shifts so nobody was stepping on each others toes. I was deemed Captain as I was leader of the mini-fleet we had. With Seth and Leo as co-captains. They will command the ship so I can get a rest and all of our co-captains can take some time off.

Seth

Not gonna lie, when Angel had picked up that man's hand and put it in a jar with the middle finger standing up, I was oddly attracted to her more. This woman gives me more reasons to love her more and more every day. She didn't run scared when I cut it off, she just waited for me to finish what I started and she even took the hand with us so he couldn't get it re-attached. Weaker woman would have vomited or ran. "I swear to Neptune I can see the hearts in your eyes" Leo joked. I laughed and told him how lucky I felt. He nodded and commented tastefully on how awesome Angel is. "Virgo is a catch too. Where did you find her?"I asked. "We met at a fight." He responded. I waited to see if he would give me any other information. "She was the champion. She was bored with fighting, so she threw the last fight to earn her freedom. The owner of the joint wasn't satisfied that she had done that, so then he was going to lock her up and I gave her the means to get her freedom. She punched me square in the jaw. It was love at first punch." Leo continued explaining. "wow", I said in astonishment. I knew some of the story but not to that depth. The reward for her capture is a pretty hefty one and now I know why.

Chasing my Uncle after I thought we had stopped him is obnoxious. It boils my blood like a cracken attack. He has our ships and if he brings them back to where he is stationed, he will be hailed as a hero instead of the criminal he is. I nod to Patches and Zipper as I pass them and they wave back. As soon as I reach the room I am staying in, I hear noises from inside which put me on high alert before I even open the door. I kicked open the door and Angel jumped out of her skin, which made me laugh. Once I was able to stop laughing, she crossed her arms and gave me a harsh stare. "Don't you have something to say about scaring me?" She asked. "You weren't afraid when I cut the man's hand off but you were scared of a sudden appearance through a door. What am I supposed to make of that?" I challenged. She rolled her eyes and pouted. I went up to her, gave her a hug and apologized. "Skylar organized a surprise for you." I informed her. She nodded and ran for the deck and I walked out behind her. When we got to the top, we noticed music was playing and the crew, who were not needed for the moment, were celebrating, there was music and food and dancing. I grabbed Angel's hand and pulled her into my arms, then we proceeded to dance to the rhythm and had a great time with the crew until it was my turn to take the wheel.

I asked Rex to escort her to her room to get some rest but Skylar insisted she did it because it was their "routine" and I wasn't allowed to mess that up just because I was overprotective or jealous. I gave Angel a kiss and told her to get some rest. She yawned, nodded and the girls left for her room. Rex laughed and headed to the galley to help clean up. I took hold of the wheel and turned in the direction we needed to head. Some time during the night, Jen came to give the weather warning. She reports way more than Grey and way more detailed. I asked her if she could train Grey for me. With a giggle, she left to find Grey. When morning broke Leo came to take his turn and I went to Angel's room. I knocked and heard "Enter". In her very sleepy state Angel had given me permission to come in. Noone els was in the room so I stripped off my shirt tossed it to the chair next to the bed and crawled in next to her and passed out.
