Chapter 5

1035 Words
Envy POV After convincing Alpha Nic that I did not hurt my sisters, he took Daisy bridal style and so did Charlie with Blu. So....it turns out that Charlie was the Beta and Blu was his mate. Well, that was good for him. Blu is a gentle soul and the Moon Goddess paired them well because I could tell Charlie loved his mate dearly. However, for Nic, yeah, he's in it for the worse. Daisy hates and detests werewolves and to find out you are mated to one, she won't be too happy. As for me, I think Alex is a good guy, but that does not mean we are staying. Also, he is a Gamma. As soon as they patch my sister up. WE ARE OUT OF HERE!!! "So mind telling me your name since you did not tell our warrior." Alex said, looking at, with sparkles, but I was not about to tell him anything about whether we were mates. I stared at him then averted my gaze at my sisters who were being carried by the Alpha and the Beta.  "We will have our people sort out what happens to them and help them, so don't worry, we won't hurt you." Nic stated, but again I was far from scared of them. "Why were you running from us?" Alex asked, trying to get to talk. I looked at him and said, "We don't want you as our mates," I said, with an emotionless face. I knew that would hurt him, but it was the only way to protect him. I looked at him with sad eyes. I felt bad. Maybe I should have been softer with him. I had a frown on my face when I looked away from him.  After a few moments of silence, Charlie said, trying to break the awkward and tense silence, "So........what is this like?" He was talking about Blu, so to keep that silence from haunting us again, I asked him. "Really sweet and bubbly. She is a romanticist, but she can be super annoying. She has her moments where you can't help but love her even when Blu is a pain in the ass. You have your work cut out for you." I told him, it was a smile and giggle. Knowing all too will what is in store for him.  "Her name is Blu? I like it", Charlie then said with excitement. 'I wonder what she is like?' Nic said in his mind, looking at Daisy. Oh boy. I shook my head at his thought. So I decided to give him a heads up to prepare him. "She is the opposite of Blu at most times. She can be loving, caring and nice, but get her really mad and you in for an eternity of pain. Sometimes Daisy can be annoying, especially when she wants something bad. The same goes for Blu," I pointed at Blu with that last part, but I continued, "He hates werewolves with a passion, so she may not be in the fourth coming of being your mate. But all in all, my sisters are really nice and wonderful girls who deserve nothing but love and happiness." I smiled when I was finished. "I, however, do not hate werewolves and --" I was cut off when I was going down a steep slope and almost fell until Alex caught me and held me to him. Got to say he smelt good and felt good too from behind. As I stared up at him with my back against his chest, I felt calm and I realized how beautiful he was. He had a slick back, black hair with tanned skin. I know werewolves are supposed to have tanned skin, but his looked more beautiful. His eyes are light brown that sparkle; I realize that and it's just his thing for his eyes. It was very pretty. I had not realized I was staring at him for so long that he cleared his throat to snap me out of my daze. I cleared my throat and stepped out of his embrace. And caught up with the others. 20 minutes later After walking for sometime, we finally arrived at the pack village. We walked past some houses until we reached the pack hospital. The village looked great. Too bad we won't stay for long. The Alpha was able to get my sisters situated quickly and they started to do surgery on them. We were now in the waiting room. Nic, Charlie and I were frantic because we were scared of the news we would get if it was bad. After what seemed like a long eternity, the doctor came out, closing the door behind him. He had a grim look on his face. This can't be good. I thought. As soon as he came out, we all got up and went to him, waiting for him to tell us the bad news. "Okay. Both girls lost a lot of blood, had a concussion, and internal bleeding. We were able to get them stable and fixed at the best we can, but I am afraid they will never walk again." He told all of us, but he continued never the less ignoring our facial expressions, "Also, because of the lot of internal bleeding that happens, it contributed to the loss of their legs. Nothing we do can fix it." He finished and everyone was not happy about what he had just said. But then, "I had to put them in a coma so they could recover better, again with the concussion and loss of blood, I don't know--" he added, but I cut him off. "When or if they are going to wake up? Is that what you were going to say?" I asked with an eyebrow raised at him and in turn he narrowed his at me, trying to figure out how I knew that. But he replied, "Yes, we don't know. We have done all we can and the rest is up to them." He left us and everyone was looking more gloomy than before. I spoke up in the defining silence, "I could fix them."  ******************************************************* Thank you for reading ;)
