It took a while to plan, and along about the middle of September that year, the tent went up with plans to hold a revival every night from Sunday to Sunday. We figured folks could park along the road and walk to the tent if necessary. We had no idea how many people would be attending, but the fillers and posters went out as far as Truman to the east and as far as Ash Flat to the west. Some folks even took fliers and posters up into Missouri. One of the new members of the congregation, Brother Jones, who had started coming from over near Walnut Ridge, had taken me to a photography studio and got my picture taken to go on the fliers. When the fliers were printed, he said he was sending some to family he had living in Memphis. Come that first Sunday of the revival, I was as nervous as a cat.
