In a well design furnished living room, two couple standing were arguing with each other. Mrs Grace Julius said angrily, "What sort of rubbish is this, you're so selfish and wicked. How can you do this to us, after you promised not to gamble again. You only think about yourself". Mr John Julius, sat down in the chair dejected and said " that's not true, I care for you and our daughter, everything I do is for us". " That's a big lie". Grace replied sitting down also. Pointing at her husband she said " If you really cared about us, you would have kept the promise you made to us not to gamble again". " I didn't do it for the fun of it, there were millionaires in our table in the casino. I thought I could win some money in order to pay our bills" . Mr John Julius said. " If you were making part payments like you made us believe, there would have been no need for you to gamble " Grace said in disdain. " You better come up with a good plane because my daughter and I will never be homeless, never". she warned her husband as she stormed off angrily from the living room. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * A beautiful light skin lady in her twenties with long black curly hair , a fine nose and with good height is in the kitchen cooking. A fine young man looking about 27years of age is tip toeing slowly behind the lady. He tickles her, 'ah'. she shouted. " You scared me, I didn't know you were coming". she smiled lovingly at him holding his hand. It's because you were so busy in the kitchen, that you did not notice. Mmh --- by the way, the kitchen smells nice. what are you cooking? " Josh asked smiling. "Something nice ". Sandra said teasing him. " Mom called, I really need to go". Josh face changed, " I thought you were sleeping over and I will drop you tomorrow on my way to work. I hope there is no problem"Josh said. " She didn't say" Sandra replied to him. "That's okay, I don't have a choice. Am really going to miss you" . Josh said pulling Sandra close to him to kiss her. Sandra turned her face and pushed him away gently. "How was work today? ". Sandra asked. " Good and how did the interview go?". Josh asked Sandra. " I will tell you on our way but first, go change so that you can drop me off at home". " OK, fine". He kissed her forehead, leaving the kitchen to go change. Sandra smiled as he left. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * In the Julius house, Sandra is arranging her clothes in the wardrobe when her mother walked in ". Young lady, why did you delay till I called you three times before you could answer and come home. Do you want to belittle yourself in front of the man that wants to marry you". Grace Julius asked angrily. Sandra confused with her mother's attitude said " but mom, I told you I was going to sleep over in Josh's house to enable me for the interview. His house is close to the company ". Sandra looked at her mother, " mom, what is it? why are you like this? ". Grace sighed and sat down in her daughters bed. " Am sorry dear, it's your dad". "Dad ?". Sandra asked as she walks towards her mom and sits down beside her. " What has he done this time". Sandra's countenance changed. " He's been gambling secretly ". Grace said " No, but he promised not to gamble" Sandra said. " He fooled us and this time, he did not just gamble away cash but this house" Grace angrily said. "What! . mom are you sure about this? who gambles with their house". Sandra was speechless. " Selfish men like your father".Grace said. "Are you saying that dad, gambled our house as a bet?" Sandra could not believe what she was hearing. "No, he borrowed 20 million from a company using our house as a collateral". Grace replied almost in tears. 'Ah, God were do we go from here, we are doomed'. Grace crying. Sandra in shock, still trying to process what she heard.
