Rescued by the Prince

Surprise?

Prince Devin''s POV

They want to deny us on but we are not letting up now. We will help them and get the best treatment for their dad no matter what. 

"Should we head back to the palace now? To keep each of you safe? And get him his treatment he needs?" I asked. 

"Fine, let's go. We can head back now. But, what about his treatment for when he is on the plane? He is gonna need to be taken care of while he is on the jet," Heavyn asked, worried. I sighed. 

"Don't worry. We have everything planned out for you all. Alright, let's go," I said. We head out to the jet and board. We begin our flight back to the palace immediately.

~Couple hours later~ 

We land on the palace grounds. We see our parents rush out to see us. 

"Devin and Rex, come here immediately! What is the meaning of this insubordination?! Why did you stay with these people for so long?" our mother yelled. 

"We have some interesting news for you two, mom and dad. Their dad is here for the treatment he will be receiving here because he deserves it, but that's not the only thing. We know who is in charge of his shooting as he was the intended target of this attack. Do you want to know who it is?" I said.

 They rolled their eyes and said, "Enlighten us."

 "It was our former engaged Princesses, Drea and Layla and their exes. 

“We are not surprised by their exes because they are useless pieces of sh*t, but we will never marry women like this. Women who want to hurt and kill someone else's family member because of us. So, here's our rings to them and we are no longer marrying them from this moment on," Rex said.

 Our father laughed. "Do you expect us to believe this? Princess Drea and Layla, come out here immediately! We have to ask you something! Let us see what they say about this," he shouted. They hurry outside to see us all back. 

"Honey, you're back! Did you realize that they were users? And were trying to get you to be their savior for no reason?" Princess Drea shouted.

 "Nope, but we found out something interesting that involves you both and their exes. Care to explain that or do you want us to do that for you?" I said. 

"What do you mean? We have no idea to what you mean," Drea said, nonchalantly. The PI and the officers come behind us a few seconds later. 

"Drea and Layla, you had planned with their exes to shoot and try to kill their father because of us wanting to help them. As good people that we are, explain this to all of us. Why did you do this?" I said.

 "This is a lie! There is no way that we could plan such a horrible thing as this! Where is your so-called proof behind all of these accusations?" Drea shouted. 

"See, son! Making noise for nothing! These people just want to drag our names under the mud!" our father shouted. 

I see Heavyn clenching her fists tightly together. I hold her hand to soften them. She loosens her grip and calms down. 

"Your majesties, the proof is here in these recordings, documents and pictures obtained from their exes and inside the palace when they were staying here. Obviously all of you were unaware that this was going on under your noses, but they are under arrest for the attempted murder of their father and conspiracy to hurt others around them. They have the right to remain silent and anything they say or do can be used against them in the court of law," the officer said. 

Our father gasped. "Drea, Layla, is this true? You planned to hurt more people and kill their father? Is this how you were raised?" our mother asked. 

"No, you have to believe us! This is a scam! We would never hurt anyone, let alone try and have someone murdered! Please, don't let them take us!" she shouted. Meanwhile, Layla is just standing there quietly. 

"Do you not have anything to say, Layla? On these accusations being thrown at you both?" our dad asked.

"Your majesty, there is nothing for me to say. Apart from I am sorry. We had planned this a while back and we take full responsibility for our actions. This is and will always be unacceptable behavior. We should not have done this for any reason. Drea, just apologize and you know that we were wrong for doing this," Layla said.

 Drea grunted. "I will never take this sitting down! Wait and see! We'll be back with a vengeance, so just you wait!" she yelled. The officers came and took them away. Everyone is quiet. 

"Dad, let's get you inside. Excuse us," I hear Heavyn said. They excuse themselves and head inside to help their dad get some rest. Our parents looked at us and sighed. 

"Sons, we are so sorry for this. And especially the way that we were acting. As far as condoning such behavior as we did before," our mother said. 

"Don't apologize to us, you both know who you need to apologize too. Do it at a later time when they are trying to regain their family back together, alright? Excuse us," I said.

Rex and I both head inside and they follow behind us and we shut the door on this chapter. At least, until next time....
