Chapter 9

The next morning, I woke up with my little rose in between Liam and I. Before I could get her, Liam held her in his embrace and kissed her forehead. I giggled before grabbing my phone off the nightstand and snapping a picture of them.

I was looking over the pictures when Liam woke up and smiled at me before realizing, it wasn’t me he was hugging. He looked down with a confused face. He stayed staring at my… sorry, our daughter for a while before he looked at me with a smile.

"She looks just like you. She’s beautiful.” Hearing his words made me smile and the feeling of wanting to cry rushed over me.

“Yea. She is beautiful. And our son will be handsome.” I mention having another kid because I want to see his reaction. I want for Rose to have a brother.

Chase is like a brother to me. He is my family and it hurt to leave him and knowing that those brats made it worse for him. Knowing that he was waiting for me to return mad me feel guilty. I wanted to take him with me, but I also didn’t want him to be moving around so much and have a normal childhood. Now I understand that its not what he needed and that, we, will never be normal.

“Our son? I think he will be as handsome as I am.” He says while getting off the bed and gently placing Rose’s head down. He then proceeds to standing up straight, flashing his award-winning smile and rock hard abs.

“May the moon goddess help him then.” I giggle and when I hear his playful growls. I can’t lie its so sexy that I’m kind of turned on by it.

In a flash he is standing right in front off me. He takes a few steps to the front and I to the back, until my back hits the wall. I see him smirk before he directly goes to kiss my soft spot on my neck. I feel my knees giving out and when I feel his soft lips shift into a smirk against my neck, I know that he likes what his touch does to me.

I heard a shift on the bed so I instantly try pushing Liam away, but he wouldn’t move.

“Liam, not now.” I moaned the last part. “Li…Liam.”

He just keeps kissing, sucking, biting. I hear a small cry and I push Liam away form me. He chuckles while I walk to the bed. I carry my baby while glaring at him. He walks to the bed and sits as I begin to sing.

I finish the song with that and place Rosie back on the bed.

I have been singing that song to her since I found out I was pregnant. Every night I would sing it. When she was born, I sang her to sleep with it and when she would have night terrors, I could take her in my arms and sing to her. Of course, I wasn’t always there, which was hard, but I would video chat and still be there to sing to her. She never liked anyone but me singing that song to her. Not even Chris. It makes me feel happy, like I’m not as bad of a mother as I think I am.

 I look to Liam and he is looking at me with so much love.

“What?”

“I love you.” I stare at him for a while. Do I love him? I know I care about him but is it because of the mate bond thing. All the time that he was being a jackass, I did care.Can I live without him? Thinking about it made my heart arch.

“I love you too Liam.”

I was in the living room with Rosie while Chris and Liam are talking. I wanted to be there, but Rosie fell and started crying. I calmed her down and went back but they said they were good, so I’m now playing with her. I just hope nothing happens between them.

I hear Chris laughing and turn to see him with Liam, Chase, Will, and James. Well at least they aren’t fighting or anything. I smile to myself. They like each other. Rosie likes Liam. Chase is getting along with everyone and is very protective of Rosie. My little family is doing well.

“Darling.”  I hear Liam call me and turn. He’s looking at me we puppy eyes.

“What is it?” if he says he wants to change the date of our date then I’m gonna be pissed. After I put Rosie back to sleep, he asked me on a date for tonight.

“I was kind of hoping I could have a beer with the guys toni” I cut him off by walking past him and heading to the stairs.

“Come on darling. We could go out tomorrow night. Chris just got here, and James is leaving tomorrow for business.” I look to James and he just looks to the ground. Then I turn to Chris and he points to Liam.

“Don’t look at me I told him that if you guys have plans then he shouldn’t cancel. I already warned him” Liam turns to him with a glare.

“Ok. Then since Chris already gave you advice and you decided not to fallow, you can go but know there will be punishment.” I see Liam smirk which makes me smirk as well.

“Not that kind of punishment, Darling.” I already have something in mind.

“Liam can you help me take Rosie to the tv room please? Boys he’ll be right back.” when he gets Rosie, I mind link Chase. He’s 13 so he can’t go out drinking. I tell him to pick out a movie for me, him and Rosie to watch.

I walk to my room for a quick shower. When I come out Liam is barely getting in the room.

“Darling, you’re not mad right?” Liam walks to me and kisses my neck. He thinks that it will work every time I’m mad at him. Not this time.

“No, I’m not mad Liam. I think it good for you to be spending time will Chris and I’m happy that everyone is getting along. I’m just sad.” I pout my lips.

“Aww why are you sad sweetheart.” He asks.

“I’m sad because I wanted to spend the night with you” I put my hand in his hair and pull his head away from my neck. His eyes are darkening.

“I’m sad because I wanted to have some fun…with you.” I again pout but then continue talking.

“but since you want to spend time with the guys, I guess I can wait. I’m gonna watch a movie so I’m gonna change ok.” I pull the towel off my body and walk to the closet.

When I’m inside I hear a growl before Liam walks inside with dark lust filled eyes. He walks to me and pins me to the wall.

“The guys could wait. I had already made plan with you. They should understand.” He kisses me and I moan softly against his lips.

I push him away and I hear a growl radiate from his chest.

“I already told you I’m gonna watch a movie with my little baby.” He smirks and walks back to me.

“Come on darling I thought you said you wanted to play.” I push him again and answer him.

“I did but now I have plans with Rosie and Chase, and I don’t like changing my plans unless its urgent so go with the guys and have fun.” He looks at me get ready in his shirt and continues to stare at me when I’m headed to the tv room.

When I know he’s not in the hall anymore I go and hear him tell the guys that he’s ready to go. He has a small frown, which makes me laugh. Serves him right.

I walk back to the tv room and the rest of the night is just me laughing with Rosie and arguing with Chase about whether Marvel or DC is better.

One week Later

“Come on Darling, please.” He gives me a pout.

Ever since he changed plans with me, I have been saying no to his dates. That night he came home drunk saying sorry. We haven’t gone on a date, I haven’t let him kiss me, and I’ve been sleeping with Rosie. I do tease him but that’s what he gets. It’s not like I completely avoid him anyway. We still talk, and it nice. I have gotten to know him even more. I think I will invite him to a game night or something tonight. So, he won’t be lonely.

“Fine, we can do something tonight but I’m planning.” He smiles and I do to. I give him the first kiss since last week. When we break apart, he looks lost in his head.

“Never changing a date night again.” He mostly says that to himself, but everyone heard it. We laugh and Liam goes back to work while I go see Jess and the kids.

I just finished showering and now I’m in the closet getting ready, when I feel little tingles on both sides of my waist. I get pulled into a hard chest and Liam’s intoxicating scent hits me. I did miss his touch and how he makes me feel but it was fun watching him blame himself and asking me out everyday for a week until I’d say yes…Oh I’m mean. Oh well, he must deal with me.

He kisses my shoulder before turning me around and kissing from my neck, up my jawline, and to my lips. I kiss back until I get a mind link from Will saying we are the only ones missing.

I push him away and check the time on my phone. When I realize that we are already 30 minutes late I push him to his side of the closet and tell him to hurry. I walk out and finish getting ready.

“Liam honey, are you almost done we’re already late.” I try sounding extra sweet.

He comes out in the outfit I picked out for him and looks so…hot. Its just some jeans with a black v neck shirt. but his muscles are very noticeable with that shirt.

“Where are we going.” I smile and link our arms.

“You will see.”

“Oh, a surprise. OK.” He smiles.

We walk to the living room and see all the games I asked Will to buy and everyone ready to play. Liam looks at me with a confused face while I break our linked arms and walk to say hi to everyone. I hear Liam whimper and I laugh in my head. I turn to him confused. He has his puppy dog eyes and a pout on.

 I invited Jess, James, Will, and Joe to game night. Liam thought it  was gonna be just me and him, but I wanted to have one last laugh before I end the teasing. I got my Prank Partner to go along with me.

“What’s wrong, Darling.” I ask him with an innocent smile and emphasize ‘darling’.

“You said we could go out on a date. Just the two of us.” He whines.

“I never said it was a date I said I would plan something together, I never mentioned who was going to join or not. I planned a game night with our friends, so suck it up and come play. Unless you want to change your plans.” I could hear the others trying to hold in their laughter, as I again smile innocently at Liam.

“Ok.” Liam says looking rather forced. I think that tonight will be fun.
