The Alpha

"Where are you taking me?" She asked. Brad didn't answer her. He ignored the fact that she had talked without being talked to. Omegas never talked until they were spoken to. He wants her safe, away from the pack. She would be killed at the break of dawn and he didn't want that to happen to her. He loved her very much even though she was stubborn and had turned down his requests. When they got to the main gate, the patrol guards opened the gate for them to walk through. When he was sure they were far away from the main gate, Brad stopped walking and Malia did too. She had many questions running through her head, but she couldn't say anything. "You should run very far away from here. Derek plans to kill you first thing in the morning for violating the laws and I won't be alive to witness that. I'm sure you will manage fine on your own. One more thing, try as much as possible to stay away from the Westland Pack. They'll think of you as a rogue and that will endanger your life. You can hide in the Crescent Moon Pack or the Silver Land Pack for the mean time. They don't have problems with rogues, as they are rogues themselves" All the while Brad spoke, he maintained a straight face, his face void of any expression. He turned around and began to walk away. Realization dawned on Malia at what Brad was doing. He would rather help her escape than watch her killed before his eyes. Tears of joy filled her eyes as she ran to him and hugged him from behind. "Thank you" She mumbled. Brad nodded his head as he turned to face her. He bent to her height and pecked her on her forehead and cheeks. "Stay safe," He whispered close to her ears. "I will," Malia smiled genuinely at him. "You should get going," He told her. Malia nodded and turned around to leave. She will forever be indebted to him. Brad turned to leave when she was no longer in sight. ★★★★★ Malia kept wandering in the woods, her main aim was to get to either the Crescent Moon Pack or the Silver Land Pack and there was no way she would get to her destination without passing the Westland Pack. The moon shone brightly on her olive skin. Her only aim was to pass successfully without the patrol guards of the Westland Pack sighting her. She began to feel uneasy when she heard the howling of a wolf. The howling sounded so close. She wondered if it was behind her. Conniption gripped her immediately and she started running deeper and deeper into the woods when she heard the sound of a paw like it was chasing after her. She kept on running, fear all over her body. Her only aim was to survive. "Argh!!!" She shrieked as she felt the sharp claws scratch her arms. She came in contact with a werewolf. Malia's throat had gone dry, sweat dripped from her forehead and her heart began to beat fast again. The werewolf in front of her howled, his eyes glowing red. It filled Malia with indescribable fear. She took a step back, her lips and hands shaking and immediately, she started running, ignoring the pain on her arm. She had no idea where the strength came from. Her fear grew when she realized who the man was. He was the alpha of the Westland Pack, the pack Brad had warned her against. She could hear the growl behind her, and the fast movement of his feet that indicated that the man was chasing after her. She panted heavily, her breath ragged, with lips agape. The sound of the werewolf's howling was getting louder. She may be an omega, but one thing she was grateful for was the fact that she was a fast runner, but does it mean she can outrun an alpha? "Argh!!!" Her scream echoes in the woods, as she lands roughly on the ground. She turned and her eyes came in contact with the familiar crimson-red eyes of the werewolf. Indescribable fear coursed through Malia's body as she stared at the man, her entire body was shaking visibly. She moved back on her butt, as the werewolf sauntered to her. "Please," She whimpered, a tear rolling down her cheeks. Heaven knows she wouldn't have passed through here if there was another way to get to Crescent Moon Pack. The werewolf growled again, his fangs and sharp claws elongated. "Rogue" The man growled. "Please… Please don't kill me" She pleaded, unable to move this time. She yelped when she felt the sharp sting of claws on her arms again. It hurt so bad. It was nothing compared to the pain she felt when Derek scratched her. It was nothing compared to the one few minutes ago. But the next thing, the werewolf's eyes blacked out, and he fell on top of her with a thud. She frowned. Did he faint on her? She felt a liquid substance on her stomach and roughly pushed the werewolf away from her body. Malia sighed in relief when she examined her body but didn't see any injury, save for the one on her arms. Tears filled her eyes. Was she cursed? All her life she has been through hell in her pack because she was an omega. Did she choose to be born this way? Did she choose to be an omega? She didn't even know who her parents were. She had been brought into Lionsdale as a slave. Her eyes shifted to the man and she noticed the blood stain on his white shirt. Had he been attacked and by who? She wondered what an alpha could be doing all alone by himself and without his guards. Truth be told, Alphas are usually strong, but it still doesn't mean that he should go out alone. Derek never went out alone. Her wolf frowned at her when she thought about Derek. She has made up her mind that she won't think about him. He is no longer hers. She suddenly had the urge to run away, after all, she was almost close to the Crescent Moon Pack, but she couldn't bring herself to run. She couldn't leave him like that. He was severely injured and unconscious. Whoever attacked him in the first place would come for him again. Her wolf frowned at her again. You i***t. You are hurt too. Go and get treatment and refuge in the Crescent Moon Pack. Malia rolled her eyes. She ignored her wolf as she stood up from the ground and began to drag him away by his hands. Her arms hurt from where he had scratched her twice, but she ignored the pain she was feeling. She would drop him off at the Westland Pack's main gate, and she would run away. Malia smiled weakly as she approached the main gate. The man was damn heavy and she was getting tired already. She successfully approached the gate and dropped the unconscious werewolf on the gate. She turned to run away, but it was already too late as the patrol guards caught her before she could run away. "Rogue?" The man hissed. "No… No. I'm not a rogue. I swear. I was sent on an errand to the Crescent Moon Pack" She lied, hoping that the man would let her go. "You will be placed in the dungeon until the Alpha regains consciousness. He will be the one to determine your fate" One of the guards told her, before dragging her away to the dungeon where he locked her. Malia hated dungeons. This was the second time in a week that she was placed in a dungeon. She should have just listened to her wolf. She should have just left the man and run away. Now see where her generosity has landed her.
