The early morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow over Alistair’s living room. Riley sat cross-legged on the soft carpet, Sam nestled in her lap, gurgling happily. Alistair stood nearby, leaning against the doorway with a fond smile as he watched the two most important people in his life. “Are you sure you want to cancel your plans today?” Riley asked, glancing up at him.
