Gabrielle There was no pain when I opened my eyes. None at all . There was nothing but a strange floaty Sensation and a flurry of colour . It took me several blinks of my sticky eyes to realise that the colours I was seeing were actually flowers. Dozens of bunches of brightly coloured flowers, they filled and over flowed from every available surface of the otherwise sterile hospital room. I frowned at them. Their myriad of colours assaulting my senses as their scent hit me. My hospital room smelt like a florist. It would have been sweet if it wasn’t giving me a head ache.
