CHAPTER SEVEN Krista rose on Sunday morning to see a front yard covered with snow. She smiled as she thought about the beautiful evening, she’d had Friday night with Trent. After supper at an Italian restaurant, they had driven the city to see the Christmas lights. They’d each chosen their favorite and compared their choices on the way home. Krista had asked Trent about his family’s Christmas traditions and she had shared her family’s traditions. “Traditions are important,” she said. “They bring families together year after year even when they’re far apart.
