Flashback
"Joseph, I really love you. I gave up my career for you, please, try to understand, I love you so much". Nina was crying the hell out of her lungs. "Shh, my love, do not cry. I am aware of your feelings. And trust me, I feel the same for you". Joseph closed his eyes and pulled her towards him.
He tried to calm her but it was no use. She was not normal at this time. There were millions of things running into her head about him that she heard from people. Joseph called someone. "John, come to my office, now". Nina was somehow trying to relax into his arms but it was not helping. Just then there was a knock on the door. "Boss, you called me". John came inside when Joseph allowed him.
"Take Nina home safely". He tried to pull her away but she refused. "I will not go anywhere Joseph. Let me stay here". Nina cried again. John was observing her crying face as his heart screamed in pain to see her like this. It was his biggest mistake that he let her come into Joseph's life. He should have stopped her.
"Listen to me, love, I will be home soon, I promise". He cupped her face and tried to be as gentle as he could. She knew that he would do as he wanted so she had no choice but to go with John. As soon as she left the office, Joseph's phone started ringing. "Boss, tell me what to do"? Someone asked in a very dense voice.
"Kill her and the baby, it is your only chance". Joseph's eyes were shining with some different kind of peace, there was a smirk on his face as he sat on his chair and made a drink for himself.

VIP CLUB
"Hey, come on, let us go back. I am not feeling good today". Hazel was trying to cope with the loud music but it seemed like it was not working. She was tired already and her headache was making it worse. "I am leaving". Hazel said again and this time Tina came back running to her.
"Hey, I am so sorry but it is been so long since I did not have fun. Can not you stay for a while? I promise, just half an hour, please". Tina knew she could always convince her best friend with this pully face.
"Gosh, fine, Just half an hour, okay? Go have fun, I am sitting here". Tina hugged her tight and returned to the dance floor with a happy face. Hazel was trying her best to compose herself but it was even getting worse.
"Here, have some water, you do not look fine". Someone offered her water and she managed to look up. A small smile came on her face as she saw him. She was somehow so surprised to see him here. She thought she was dreaming so she closed her eyes to confirm.
"Kris, you are here for real". She quickly pulled him into a hug. "Of course I am. But you do not look fine. Let us get you out of here". He said and held her hand.
"Wait, no, I can not leave Tina alone here. She is having fun after a really long time. You know after her break up with Shane, she was not doing well, so I should let her have some fun". Hazel said and Kris's expression changed instantly.
"Where is she"? Kris asked. "Relax, she is on the dance floor, let her dance". Hazel said and Kris just did not say much. Hazel chugged the bottle of water and sat back on her chair.
"So, wanna talk? When did you come back and why did you not tell me"? Hazel missed him so much. He was the only best friend she had after Tina.
"I did not want to miss an amazing surprising look on your face like this". He tried to make her smile and succeeded. Hazel was happy, unaware of the fact that someone was gazing at her from distance and waiting for the right chance to pull her close to him.
"Hazel, just wait for me, I have an urgent call to make. I will be back soon, okay"? Kris kissed her temple and walked away. Hazel smiled at him and nodded her head like a good girl. She was so tired but still willing to wait for her both best friends.
She could at least have some rest at the corner table of this crowded club, that is what she thought as she did her head down just then the music stopped and the power was cut. All she could hear was people screaming and it scared her like hell.
