"Hello, my name is Mr. Sanchez and I'll be subbing for Mr. Morgan today." Whispers spread throughout the classroom, mostly rumors about why Shawn is out today...why he's been out all week. Sinking lower in my seat, I let out a breath. Getting fired was not what I had in mind for him. "Take out your textbook and finish your work from yesterday." He finished before taking a seat and leaning back to sleep.
"Hey, what's the deal with Mr. Morgan do ya think?" Seth whispered in my ear.
"Don't know." I curtly reply hoping we could change the subject. I glance over at Hunter who was eyeing me suspiciously.
"Maybe his wife is sick or something." Seth suggests causing my body to freeze at the thought of him being married. I shake it off.
"No, he's not married." Seth tilts his head like a
