Sleep last night was restless. I woke up at the slightest noise. At 5 am, I finally got up and started getting ready. I know I’m not in the ideal condition to be going to my first day of work, but I figured I’ll just pump myself full of coffee to get myself energized throughout the day.
I put on a gray dress with a black belt and put on a black blazer. It’s my best business formal dress and I consider it my power outfit. It’s a dress I usually wear when I am about to meet top executives, or I am hoping to close a sale with a huge client. I paired it with black 3-inch Louboutins.
I put my hair up in a high ponytail, and put on natural-looking makeup. I am thankful that I learned how to apply makeup on myself. This is one skill that has been very useful to me.
