PRINCESS OF ALIUM SE ORBEM TERRARUM

A beautiful morning has come as the people of Alium Se Orbem Terrarum do their works. This kingdom was created 5 thousand years ago when the first ever pair of elves were born from the magic of their god. The two of them fell in love and two children were born. Those years, marrying your own family is normal but as soon as the population grew, the god who created their world banned the marriage and s****l pleasure between blood related.  Elves who have been born with golden eyes are considered as part of the Royal family as they are the only one who has special eye color. The rest of the elves have blue, pink, green, or purple eyes. Magic is one of the natural ability of the elves. Since their kingdom is very different from the world of humans, the interest and treasure from here has caught the attention of the greedy. Humans made contact to the elves and initially got their trust. As soon as the elves disclosed the location of their treasure, humans betrayed them. Half of their population vanished and many elves died. Because of this, the 504th King asked the god to hide their Kingdom for the sake of their future. The god took pity of them and hide the Elf Kingdom away from the humans. Since then, the peace reigned upon them.  "Queen?" King Morwen, the current king of the Elf Kingdom visited the chamber of Queen Leticia, his beloved wife. Leticia immediately looked at her King and lay down the book she's reading. She stood up but Morwen stopped her as he saw his wife is having a hard time walking. "Leticia, you don't have to walk. You should just stay laying down your bed." "My King, I know you are worried but look at me. I look like a bloated woman!" The King laughed a little as he saw the queen pouting while looking at her stomach. Despite the bloated tummy of his wife, she still as gorgeous as ever. It's been two years since they got married and he still can't understand how he was able to marry such a beautiful elf. He carry the queen in bridal style and carefully lay her down their bed. Leticia giggles and hugged Morwen. "Mother said I look like a bloated hungry woman. Am I? Hmm?" Morwen slowly kissed Leticia on the cheek and she immediately blushed and glared at the him. He only laughed and stared at her.  "Mother is right but it doesn't mean that you are no longer charming. Our baby is growing inside you, so it is natural for your tummy to become big. By the way, when is your due date?" "The doctor said I may be in labor any time this week." "Wow! I can't wait to see my little angel. Hmm. I wish she looks like you." "Why? I think it's better if she looks like you, though." "Leticia, my queen. What appearance may she have, whether she takes after me or you, I'll be always thankful. Because I was able to marry you and have a little angel." No one can deny the chemistry and love between the king and queen. Queen Leticia is known for her beauty. Her purple eyes that always glow whenever she looks at the King. Her pale white skin, and her silver hair that originated 2 thousand years ago. Her laugh and personality that made the king fall in love with her. The king first saw Leticia during his coming of age ceremony when she accidentally poured a drink to his coat when they are in the flower garden. During that time, Morwen is in disguised as a soldier. Since Leticia has the ability of water, she was able to clean immediately his coat. Since then, Morwen always visit the garden but unfortunately, Leticia was never there. Two months passed and he heard the news that someone proposed to her. Soon, Morwen asked his father if he can propose to some to be his future wife. That time, King Paris is sitting on the throne.  King Paris supported his decision and then sent a marriage proposal to Leticia. At first, she hesitated because she doesn't want to be involved to Royal Family. But her father advised her to first see the second prince. There, she found out that the soldier she met at the flower garden in the palace is the second prince of their  Kingdom. She did not give any answer yet because she wants to know him first. Three times a week, they both decided to stroll their area or meet to know each other. Not long after, Leticia decided to say yes to the prince. Morwen is known as the most kind prince in their kingdom. His love for people helps him gain favor to be chosen as the crown prince. Beside that, he also excel in fighting as he studied it for so long. The first prince named Kylo was pushed down the crown prince title because of his lack of emotion and service for their people. The crowning moment for the title of crown prince held together with their wedding. And after seven months, King Paris decided to step down and passed the crown to Morwen. Two years after their wedding, Leticia was able to conceive a child.  King Morwen suddenly heard Leticia's moan so, he immediately looked ate her. But to his dismay, she is sleeping. He looked at the window and saw that it is still dark. Before he once again drift into his sleep, he heard Leticia's moan again. This time, he touched her cheek and was startled at how much wet her face is because of the sweat. "Leticia? Leticia!" The king called the doctor through his magic and shake the queen because she is not waking up. Not long after, the queen opened her eyes. "Mor-Morwen. It hurts. Huuu. My stomach....hurts" The King looked at her stomach and saw blood coming from her. He once again called the elf doctor and because of his frantic voice, doctor immediately went inside their room. In the middle of the night, every elf in the palace woke up. Servants are going inside the room one by one. The King looks helpless because he can't do anything. The doctor asked him to leave the room and wait outside. Morwen seems panicking as he is walking on the hall while brushing his face. He is powerful but at times like this, he can't do anything. He can hear the cry of the queen and the encouragement of the doctor from the inside saying "You can do it, Queen!" It's been three hours when the queen started the labor but still no sign of baby coming out. Morwen asked the servant who went outside. "Did the baby come out? How is Leticia? Is she okay?" "Your Majesty, the queen is still in labor but the baby may come out any time now." "How is she? Is she still in pain?" "Yes, my King. It is natural because she's in labor." "How come the doctor can't make her pain go away?! Let me see that doctor! I did not hire her to let my wife suffer!" The servant panicked as the king tried to open the door fortunately King Paris prevented him. "Morwen! What are you doing?" "Father! Leticia is in pain. How can I seat here and relax?! That doctor does not help my wife. She's having a difficult time." King Paris only sighed as he thinks that his son will not gonna listen to him. He just sat and let his wife console  their son. "Morwen, my son." "Mother, I just want to see Leticia." "Morwen, listen. She is in labor. The pain in giving birth is normal." "How come it's natural?? What if--" "Shhh. Don't say that word, Morwen. Leticia can do it. We just have to wait. Labor takes hours. Just wait, son." "Ahhhhh!! It huts! Please. Ahhhhh!" They heard Leticia's cry from the inside. Morwen only bowed his head while leaning at the door. He murmured to himself his wife's name. before the sun rises, they heard the cry of a child. King Morwen and the elves waiting outside stood up. They looked at each other nodded. Morwen immediately entered the room and saw Leticia's tired face while laying down. He took a sit beside her and kissed her forehead. "Hi" Said Queen Leticia in a soft voice. She tried to smile but looks like her body isn't listening. Then, she fell asleep. Morwen sofly said to his wife the words "I love you" and kissed her lips.  Then he heard once again the cry of his baby. The doctor is not holding the princess and slowly showed it to the king. King Morwen suddenly felt his tears coming down from his golden eyes. He took the baby from the doctor and asked if the baby is really his daughter. The doctor only laughed and said "Her eyes says you are his father." Then, the baby slowly opened her eyes. The King smiled as he met the pair of cute golden eyes shining from the baby's face. Soon after taking care of the queen, the doctors went outside to deliver the beautiful message. The former King and queen also visited for a while but soon went back to their palace to take a rest because they are awake since midnight. "Morwen?" The King looked at the person who called him. He saw his wife looking at him and trying the sit from laying down. He helped her take a sit and kissed her cheek. The queen smiled and look around. "Where is my baby?" "The doctor is checking up on her. Leticia, she's beautiful. She looks like you" "Really? I wasn't able to see her because I am so tired. For how long am I asleep?" "You're asleep for seven hours. You really look tired." "That long? Wow. I am really exhausted. I'm sorry" "It's okay. Thank you for staying alive." Later on, the doctor entered their chamber and brought the princess, "Oh my gosh! My baby." The queen immediately took the baby in her arms and looked at her. Her tears can be seen from her eyes. King Morwen looked at the two elves who is owning his life. He smiled but thinking of something. He remembered what the doctor said few hours ago while she's sleeping. ["The queen, she's been sleeping for five hours now. Normal mother elves sleeping only for two to three hours after giving birth. And also, she was in labor for more than four hours. It should only be 1 or two hours."] ["What are you saying? My wife is not normal?" The King replied with a bit of frustration.] ["Your Majesty, I am not saying that the Queen is not normal."] ["if not, then what?"] ["Is Queen Leticia not a pureblooded elf?"] "Morwen? Morwen!" He was startled by the sudden voice who woke him up from reminiscing the scenario happened few hours ago.  "Yes? Sorry. I am thinking of something. Sorry." "No, it's okay. Look at her, she's holding my finger. Ain't she cute?" "Yes, she really look like you, my queen." "Really? But she got your eyes and nose. She's gorgeous." "What name would you like to give her?" "What? Morwen! You are still not giving her a name?!" "I though it is good if we both give her a name." He heard the Queen's sigh in dismay. And then started to think of a name that will surely suit her. "How about Zarouhi? It sounds like pretty, right?" The queen asked the king excitedly with puppy eyes. She's been thinking that name since she heard the news that she's having a baby girl. To be honest,  that name is a name of her favorite fairy who died when she's young. The King smiled and nodded.  Before King Morwen say something to his wife, a loud knocked distract them.  "Your Majesty! Your Majesty!" King Morwen immediately stood up and opened the door with irritated face.  "What? Make sure that what you'll say worth my time" The soldier bowed and greeted the king before he proceed to what he is saying. "Greetings to Your Highness. I asked for the sudden news but this is important. King Morwen, your brother Prince Kylo started a treason." King Morwen looked in disbelief and then asked for more info about his brother. "What is the status?" "Prince Kylo's people are now marching towards the palace. Please, Your majesty. You should evacuate together with your family. " King Morwen suddenly shut the door and walk towards his wife and daughter. "Morwen" "Leticia." He hugged her and kissed her lips. He also kissed his daughter on the forehead. He took a breath and and then let her go. "Morwen! Please." "Leticia, I have to heard the exact situation. I never thought that my brother will start a treason. Stay here, okay? I'll be back. I love you" "I love you, too. Please be safe." As soon as the King went out the chamber, the queen hugged her daughter. "My daughter, I am sorry for giving birth to you during this times." Prince Kylo is the original crown prince. But because of his stone like emotion, people of their Kingdom worried if he will be able to take care of their nation. During that time, Morwen is gaining favors because of his skills and intelligence. So, he was pushed down of the seat. They thought that Kylo is fine with how King Paris chose Morwen as the heir because he never said anything. He agreed to everything that happened. But little did they know, Kylo overheard King Paris and his people that the crown will be passed to Morwen. Since then, he made his move to gain favors from other families. He silently moved to start a war. He is the original heir, the first born and yet, they did not acknowledge him as one. For him, Morwen is the favorite son of his parents as he is more skilled in any ways. To be able to become a King, he have to annihilate the people who oppose him.
