Chapter Forty Two – Auction
Woof placed a protective arm around Jess as they stood in the queue to enter the property auction house situated on Old Kent Road. As they walked inside a curator welcomed them handing them a brochure filled with the properties that were to be sold that day
“Welcome to Monopoly Auctions” he smiled with a nod.
Vicky, Tank, Cigs and Izzy followed behind as they all picked up a paddle each, before heading to the seats at the rear of the large room, which was cold and uninviting the cream paint flaking from the walls.
