I've always find making friends difficult. It's because I have supernatural powers. I have powers to be invisible. Whenever I go to school, my classmates don't see me. They don't talk to me. They don't look at me. It seemed like they don't see me. Then I reached highschool and had some people that I called friends.
My grandmother raised me and took care of me. When I was ten years old, my Mother married again and left me to Nanny. I get to talk to her sometimes on the phone. She also gives presents on special occasions like my birthday.
I grew up very conservative and reserved. I'm just always at home. I don't have much friends that's why I don't have a reason to go out. My Nanny used to be a physician but she retired. I'm just helping Nanny now to sell her sweet sticky rice snacks.
At the age of seventeen, I never had a boyfriend. Many of my classmates had experienced multiple relationships already but I do not. Maybe it's because of my physical appearance that's why boys can't even stand to look at me at school. It's not like I'm in a hurry to be in a relationship anyway.
I just want to experience the feeling of someone liking you. It must have felt so good. The feeling of someone is happy just by seeing you. I think I won't be able to experience that with this kind of face.
My physical appearance makes it impossible for me. My long hair is straight and always tied boringly at the back of my head. My uniform is loose and oversized compared to my other classmates. I have a poor eyesight that's why I'm always wearing my thick framed eyeglasses. My acne problem made my physical appearance even worse.
I have a good hygiene and I always wash my face that's why I don't understand why I have so many pimples. Maybe it's because of stressing myself from studying too much.
Fortunately, there's someone that motivates me to go to school everyday. I'm just one of the girls who likes him in the school.
He's tall and handsome. He just transferred to our school, but a lot of girls have tried to confessed their feelings for him already. I'm not as brave as them. I can't even look at him because I feel ugly.
His name is Calyx Eithan Payne. Even his name is unique and cool. What I only know is that he used to study somewhere on Manila. I also heard that he's the son of the previous Mayor in our town. That's why I'm not surprised that a lot of girls adore him already. He's not just handsome, he's also rich.
Will he notice someone like me?
