Chapter 45

2054 Words

OLIVIA'S POINT OF VIEW There was piercing silence everywhere in the room. No one dared say anything. I felt Angelo's nails digging into my palm but I couldn't say anything. I couldn't imagine how he must be feeling right now. I heard him whisper, “she can't be dead", over and over again and I wish I could hold him and assure him that she wasn't but I wasn't even sure of that. I looked at his dad and saw that he was barely holding his composure down by a thread. He may have just lost his sister and he's trying so hard to be strong. This is all my fault. If they had just given me up all of this wouldn't have happened. Then, my dad's phone rang and like a spell, motion returned to the room. Everyone suddenly got back the life in them like this call would have the answers we needed.
