"So… that’s it? You're going back?" tanong ni Storm habang inaayos ni Keonna ang duffel bag.
"Duty calls. I may be pregnant, Storm, but I’m still a doctor. Soldiers still need me." sagot naman ni Keona na parang balewala lang dito ang kalagayan nito.
"Orders came in this morning. Reassignment—base hospital, stateside. No deployment. No field duty." dugtong pa ni Keona na matipid na ngumiti.
"And… they know?"
"Yes. I reported my pregnancy. They cleared me for limited duty. No risks. Just… controlled environments." sagot naman ni Keona na huminto sa pag-aayos ng gamit at naupo sa gilid ng kama na tinapik naman ni Keona ang katabi nito.
"You’re not just carrying gear, Keonna. You’re carrying something much heavier. And I bearly a human being." sagot naman ni Storm na naupo sa tabi niya.
