Ok we can do this. We got an A in chem class. We got this gray. Ok if you say so gracie lets try this. I grabbed six bottles and one empty one i mixed up the poisons and when i did they smoked and it smelled sweet like candy. Ok gray you need to grab the one that has the funny looking writing on it and you have five minutes left. I grabbed the bottle that had the funny writing and poured it in and it stopped smoking.

It smell even sweeter and then the door opened Kace and his dad walked in. “ i see you mixed up a poison time to test it.” he said grabbed my arm and the bottle and walked to pack prison. Kace running behind us my heart was beating out of my chest. We walked in and his dad handed me the bottle back and opened up one of the cells there was a man laying on the floor and he looked up at me with sad eyes kace’s dad shut the cell doors. “ now feed him the mixture.” “ dad get her out of there now that man is in the here for killing people.” i handed the man the sweet smelling mix. He drank it and then his body hit the floor and his mouth turn blue. I looked at Kace who opened up the cell and grabbed me and hugged me.

“ dad you crossed a line today she could have been hurt. I know you were mad because of the company and what she said to you but if you ever put in harm's way again i will kill you myself.” i growled at him as walked passed him with my mate. “ wait. Gray you are now an assassin you start training in the morning .” “NO SHE DOESN'T DAD I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU SAY.” yelled as i walked back to the house and i looked at gray and said “ i became alpha of the nightingale pack tomorrow and you will become the luna. Then we want have to worry about my dad. I made plans while you were in that room.” “ ok. Can we go to bed now i feel so tired.” she asked “ yea we can.” we walked to my bedroom and i realized then that all she had on was some shorts and my shirt. I put her in the bed and laid down with her in my arms.

I wake up to an empty bed i look at my phone and the clock says 3am. I see the light in bathroom on so i get up and walk to the door i knock and i hear nothing “ shortcake are you in there?” i get no answer i listen with my wolf hearing and hear her heartbeat it is slow and i start to panic i turn the knob on the door and much to my surprise it is unlocked. I walk in to see Gray on the floor her lips are blue like the guy from the prison. I pick her up and run down the stairs and out the door to the pack doctor. I rush in holding my mate, my life, my everything in my arms and she is lifeless. “ WHERE IS THE DOCTOR?” i roared everyone rushed over and the doctor ran up and tried to grab Gray away from me and i growl at him. “ Alpha i need to take her she has been poisoned look at her lips. The poison is making her lung fail.” I let him take her he rushes to the back with Gray in his arms. We just found her and now this happens. That old man has to pay for this. This is his fault. Ryder this is not his fault.yes it is he locked her in that room she smelled that mixture. SHE WAS MIXING POISONS TO MAKE HIM HAPPY!!! Your right this is his fault that’s it when the sun comes up he will be put on trial.

“Alpha...Alpha it’s the luna you need to come right away.” i jump up and follow the doctor. “You will need to mark her to save her she is weak and is growing weaker by the minute.” the doctor takes me to Grays room and she is laying on the bed pale. Her lips still bule “ can you leave the room please.” “yes alpha” the doctor leaves the room and closes the door “ this is not how i wanted to do this Gray but i need to.. You can’t leave me” i kiss her lips and then i move to where i’m going to mark her and extend my canines and bite her. I lick over my bite mark and i look at her to see color in her lips not a lot though. I walk at the room and tell the doctor to watch her and me now if she wakes. I shift into my wolf he is gray all over but one white dot on my chest. I howl and run home where i find the pack outside.i run in this house in wolf from and find my father i grab him by his shirt and throw him out the door. The pack looks worried and confused. “IF SHE DIES BECAUSE OF THIS YOU WILL DIE THE SAME WAY I AM ALPHA NOW THAT I FOUND HER AND YOU BETTER HOPE SHE DOESN’T DIE OLD MAN.”i growl through the mind link. My father was standing there shocked my mother ran out of the house “ what is going on? What happened? Ben what did you do that little girl?” my mother looked at my father with hurt in her eyes “ i did what needed to be done what was needed she will not make a good luna.” that was enough to make my blood boil i shifted back and my beta jake gave me some shorts “ I Alpha Kace Black here by ban you from the nightingale pack.” i said in my Alpha tone everyone just looked at me with shock “Yes you all heard right i found my mate your luna. The former Alpha and former pack member tried to kill her.”
