Chapter 27
Grosmer AgainDavrael looked back as the land slowly disappeared. He was leaving his love behind in a strange land. He felt his life was left there in the Swamp along with Kimi. The others had been kind, and he knew they too mourned her loss, but no one could understand what he was going through unless they, too, had lost their true love to Kalhera. After they had slain the dragon, he had retreated into himself again. He had not stopped eating as he did in the immediate aftermath of her death, but he spoke even less than normal.
