DragonTheir guide left them on a raised piece of land a few leagues from the village. This was quite a large 'hill', as she called it. Because of the dragon living on it somewhere, there was no village and people kept away from it.
She withdrew to the edge of the 'hill', saying that they were to call her when they had finished. She would wait for two days but if they had not returned by then, she would assume that the dragon had won and they would not be returning.
