Schools Out!
It's a hot, summer day, we have been sitting in the auditorium listening to "be safe" speeches from the newly graduated college seniors of Georgia State University. It's been a long, boring day and man I'm getting antsy just sitting here. This s**t drives me crazy and I'm claustrophobic as hell. This is the last day before we get a summer break from our studies and the guys and I already have it planned and paid for to spend our break in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It's going to be a wild and epic summer no doubt!
The guys and I just bought gorgeous sports bikes about six months ago and we been itching to ride again. The weather has been rainy and shitty for the first four months we got them. But, we've all been riding for about five years now. We all got Ninja H2R's. They're sweet! I've got a black one, my buddy Chase has a red one, and our buddy Dominic "Dom" has a green one.
As I'm sitting there, drowning in my thoughts of what we're going to do first this summer, the three girls I can't remember just walked in the auditorium. I can't ever remember their names because I always thought of them as tomboy types, kind of girl nerds. They all took autoshop with the rest of us guys, which was strange to us because of the way they dress. I know I know you're not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but sometimes you just can't help it as a guy.
The types of girls the guys and I always chose were the easy, cheerleader types. That's probably the reason we're all still single and never had real relationships. Hey, what can I say, us men don't always think with the right head. It's our downfall I guess. We're all school and street smart, just not girl smart. At least we admit it though.
I guess I was staring at the three girls laughing and chatting because I didn't realize the guys were waving their hands and snapping their fingers right in front of my face. Busted! Chase was like, "yo man, you seriously looking at those three nerdy, virgin, chastity belt wearing prudes down there?" "Nah man, I was just zoning out about this summer sizzle we gonna have." I had to say something wise ass or else I'd never hear the end of it from the guys. You know how it goes.
The bell finally rang and we couldn't get out of that damn auditorium fast enough let me tell ya. As soon as we found a clear opening we bolted out the doors. All the students and even some of the professors were running to their dorms and houses to get ready for all their summer plans.
Let's face it, men don't exactly make plans, we just knew where we were headed for a month. Us guys shared a dorm room so we just casually walked there, goofing around, talking s**t to each other, ya know... guy stuff. We got to our room and packed all our stuff we were taking with us. It didn't take us long. Then we walked over to the student parking garage to grab my brand new jet black Chevy Silverado. We're going to attach Chase's bike trailer and ride up to Myrtle Beach that way. It's a lot easier than riding our bikes with all our s**t packed.
So, we threw our bags in the bed of the truck, pulled up to the bike trailer, and one by one got the bikes on the trailer and all strapped down and secured. We were finally ready to go. Let's get this party started yo!
Meanwhile, Gina and the girls, Torrence and Chelsea were in their dorms getting ready for their summer vacation. They were all packing up, trying to decide which clothes to bring. One thing about us girls, is nobody really knows us at all. They see the nerdy types, always taking classes that all the guys thought were specified for the male gender. We actually loved autoshop! The reason for this is we are secret nightriders. By that, I mean we ride sports bikes. All three of us have Ninjas, purple, pink, and teal. These are upgrades to our CBR's. We've all been riding for about five years now. Our parents are the only people who know about it.
We're not really nerds but our parents made us out to be that way in front of the school administration. So, now we have to uphold the image, but its not who we are. We are rowdy, crazy, partygoers and we have an awesome time together. We never wear our nerdy clothes anywhere except for here on campus.
Us girls have all decided that after this summer we're going to be ourselves from now on. We're going to drill it in our parents heads that we are who we are and we can stay that way and still be honor students at school. Image is nothing without brains, right? You can be hot but dumb as f**k. We are truly hot but extremely smart.
Anyway, we have all decided we're going to Myrtle Beach this summer. We here its the hot spot so we're off to check it out. We have a cabin literally right off the beach. Like, you walk out the front door, walk down a short, Beach sanded path between some trees, and bam you're on the beach. I'll drive my brand new jet black GMC Sierra to pull our bike trailer, because it's just easier that way with all of our luggage.
We will leave later tonight so no one notices us. We don't wanna have to answer questions right now. We'll deal with that after our summer fun. No more hiding ourselves after this.
Just about everyone was gone so we grabbed all of our bags and headed to my truck. We threw our stuff in the bed of the truck and drove over to our trailer, and hooked that bad boy on. We loaded our bikes, strapped them down, and were finally ready to go, and then a voice called out, "Hey nerds! What the hell do you think you’re doing?"
Great! The head cheerleader, the snobbiest b***h of the school spotted us. Chelsea, Torrence, and I all hopped in my truck, completely ignoring her. No snotty, little brat is going to ruin our vacation. I'll deal with her dumb ass later. I peeled out of the parking garage, scaring the s**t out of her. "I think she may have pissed herself." We all laughed, cranked the music, There's nothing like Move b***h by Ludacris to get ya in the traveling mood hahaha
And now we were finally off to Myrtle Beach! This is going to be one hell of a summer. I have a gut feeling it's even going to be better than we imagine. I'm so ready for this adventure. We've all been waiting for months now. This is our time to be who we really are and so be it if we run into anyone we know. We're not ashamed of who we are.
LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED
