I wake up to see the sunlight falling over my head as my hair gleam like a sunball. To switch on my energy meter I freshen up. Changing into a red dress, I head the living room. Mama was making the breakfast and papa was reading the newspaper. I warily walk towards his position as I hid creeping behind him. Out of surprise, I throw my hands around his neck saying, '' Good Morning Papa! '' He twirls me around making me stand in front of him. '' Good morning my love. '' He studied my expression through his reading glasses before giving me a tight hug. '' I can't breathe! '' I joke annoying him a little. He falls back forthwith in concern , '' Oh sorry dear. '' I answer with a smile certifying I am okay. I walk to mama hugging her as her cooking apron embraced my face. '' Good Morning dear. '' Mama said running her fingers through my hair. But, this isn't quite the truth. This was the picture of a happy warm cup of family I had lived until it came. Until he came. I enter the school like the deuce . I survive the angry stares of people while stepping in the hallways . I sit in the front seat decently. '' Hello there Summer. '' Miss Field pronounced with a joyous face watching me. The only face that makes my morning in school pleasing. '' Good Morning, Miss Field. '' I get back to her instantly putting my bag down. After literature class, I decide to spend some private time in the newly built place. But, I frantic people's irrational tales. I am afraid to see that person again . My heart beats raised wildly but I guide it to slow down Walking by the halls the whispers made their way to reach my ears. '' Slut! '' A girl said closing her locker door lowering at me. I keep my head down in shame minding my own business. But then, I bump into him. '' Sorry! '' I chin up to face him. His honey brown eyes slides their into my empty soulless ones. But I am not supposed it feel like this. He made me unhappy and so this feeling isn't justified . '' I don't need your help! '' I tell as my eyebrows meets together when he tried to pick my things up. '' Hey Morris. Up here.. '' His friend called him and he went in a dash brushing aside . Kevin Morris, the guy who turned my happy warm life into dark ashes. Who made me miserable. Who made me lose my friends. Who hurt me so badly that I can't even share the horrifying stories with my parents. Because, they will learn that he discolored my soul and they won't be able to live with it. So, I did. What I had to do. That is, bottling the hurricane growing inside me. Even if it has been rotting every places it touched. I still risk to lock it in. I breathe heavily when I reached my destination. This place which is made through antique priceless woods. I don't exactly know who built it but I do know it was meant to be mine. There was a window in it. A cemetery could be seen through it. I saw people crying and throwing flowers on the gravestones. I even saw some people talking to themselves. This place is a real spooky one. But the only time, it gets spooky is when HE arrives. The footsteps approaches to the door as I lean back trembling. '' Why are you here again? '' I say with a shaky voice. He attended my presence caging us in. '' I thought you said yes.'' He said smirking as continued his pace towards me. My back crashes on the window when I had no space left to escape . '' I don't wanna do it again! '' I say closing my lids with disgust illustrated all over my mouth . '' Come on.. SUMMER! '' He said pleading insolently. I open my lids with blurred vision as I caught him glancing behind his shoulder. I spot the shoes immediately under the door space. '' Who's there? '' I speak huskily . The whispers got louder. He cussed when he realized I had found out. '' s**t! '' '' You brought them again? '' I screech. '' So what? '' Kevin yelled crossing his arms. '' So what? '' I repeat. '' Are you sick? '' Tears had already flooded in. '' You enjoy it. Don't you? '' He dared to say. '' What? '' I squealed in complete anger. '' I can't believe I trusted you. '' I say being shattered. '' I can't believe you told everyone. I thought you said, it was a symbol of us. A symbol, a secret to protect us. '' He breaks his serious look through an insincere laugh. '' What? '' He was laughing so hard and all I was doing was breaking. '' You will pay for this someday. '' I threatened passing by him. I walk to the door straight away way as he replied. '' You wish. '' I don't look behind. I open the latch to see dozens of people mocking me, humming dirty things about me. I huddle myself through the crowd to follow the path of the cemetery. I hold myself spreading confidence in me the entire road, while I pray to not look back at the harsh truth.
