'I don't exactly comprehend what happened. But all I can recollect is that I bunked school. Then, I went to the cemetery near the road with the infamous Summer. We had our heart to heart talk and then the reality hit me when my eyes surveyed the holy gravestone. Presently, I am lying on a icy bed as it chilled me heretofore. Cold bedsheets of material silk covering my body bringing a recondite sensation. I hop out in surprise . I had this bizarre feeling. I walk to the mirror to observe the image of the being in front of me . It certainly wasn't me.' Matthew's heart beats was anomalous when he saw his soul has been trapped in the wrong body. A body of a girl precisely. Most importantly, a body he recognizes. His pupil outgrowths fully not contemplating the fact. What happened? The important question is, how did it happen? As far as Mathew knows it's merely impossible to travel back in time. But, he can't grasp how much power he has within, how much capability the Moriss's withhold . He gulps an air of confidence but it doesn't seem to rest his nerves. He twirled around as the blond hair attached to the head of his body followed with his motion. Long hair was something he wasn't adjusted to. He notices the room. Which looks exactly like this one. Except the walls, which are painted with sorrow and little color of damaged pink. He is wearing pink pajamas as well. The thought of being caged inside a girl's body suffocates him. '' This can't be happening. '' Is this another dream? Or the kind of nightmare that never stops coming? A flashback invades his mind when he remembers this exact scene. He woke up from a strange dream. A dream that felt like disaster coming within. He ran to his mom downstairs hugging her pressing his morning hair on her cooking apron. '' Mathew! Everything Okay? '' His mom asked with concerned in her voice. Mathew doesn't stop hugging, '' I saw another nightmare, '' He whispered. His mom pushed him away apprehending this was turning serious. She kneeled down to match with his height. '' Another one? Where you see yourself trapped inside a girl's body? '' Like any other mom Matthew's mother grew impatient. 'Was this a kind of gender insecurities? ' She thought to herself. She doesn't let him know her questions. '' Mathew... Don't worry. It's gonna be okay. '' She assures him like any other morning not understanding when this nightmares will end. The flashback ends as Matthew's soul arrives back to his reality. He is still inside stuck, being restless. '' Summer... breakfast is ready! '' Mrs. Hazethorne speaks from the kitchen grabbing Matthew's attention. He walked to the path of dark to find out the owner of the voice. When he reached to the kitchen the sun rays had fall upon him sneaking through the curtains. '' Summer dear. '' Mr. Hazethorne calls watching Summer distressed. Her hair looking like a nest. '' Why aren't you ready yet honey? You'll be late for school! '' Mrs. Hazethorne tells noticing Summer's outfit. She sticks the wooden spoon into the pan telling her husband, '' Dear.. Could you watch the food while I make her ready? '' Mr. Hazethorne enjoying the situation teases his wife saying, '' Of Course... I will be your knight in shining armour '' Mrs. Hazethorne pretends to not hear her husband's cheeky speech. She takes Mathew upstairs immediately. Mathew still doesn't dare to speak a word. The terrifying moment when he hears actual sound of the owner of this body. After getting ready, where he practically shut his eyes the entire time. '' Are you okay, dear? '' Mathew still eyes closed nods his head affirming. '' Because I feel like you aren't. You do know it's been years since I dressed you up. '' Mrs. Hazethorne says giggling zipping up the dress. Hearing the sound of the complete look Mathew inspects his view. He is still in utter shock to see the little girl in front of the mirror. Mrs. Hazethorne rotated Matthew as she searched the honesty in Summer's eyes. '' You haven't said a word till the morning. You are making me worried dear. '' The sound of a concerned mothers seems to awe everyone. Just like it melted Matthew's heart. He flashed a warm smile to her that slightly calmed her down '' Fine.. Play your game. '' Mrs. Hazethorne replied helplessly. After breakfast and the whole bus ride where everything seems to happen exactly like Matthew's world. Boys and girls teasing while getting in the bus. People mocking while walking out in the school. It feels like nothing changed at all. But of course, that ain't true. Because, the only thing different is the soul within. The 80s vibe was a bit awkward for Mathew. People wore the type of clothes he had never seen. Girls with headbands on their heads. Black leggings and colorful socks. Just like the outfit he is wearing. The wind blowing sideways. The air filled with mystery. While walking to the main door someone stands in his way. He didn't raise his head as his eyes focused on the shoe that looked keen to him. He put his chin up to face the harsh truth. '' Hello there... Summer!'' The voice of the boy reached his ear as he beamed a smile. '' Kevin Morris! '' The words escaped from his lips paralyzing him. 'Dad' The most logical word of the day echos in his mind. ,
