Dylan scuffed his feet against the carpet in his mom’s reading room and studied crystals of every shape and color. Amethysts. Garnets. Turquoise. Citrine. She owned many. Each had a purpose, though he’d never taken the time to learn their uses. He knew the stone she wore around her neck was a moonstone. It increased intuition. He laughed to himself.
