Victory Garden was inspired by a news report about how people of voting age, particularly younger voters, are not voting. My thoughts immediately turned to the decades-long struggle for women’s suffrage. We’ve come a long way, baby, due in large part to the brave women who dedicated their lives to making votes for women a reality. Each time I step into a voting booth, I am grateful to these women.
