Kane pulls back, narrowing his eyes down at me “You need to let that go” he stated, scrunching his brows in annoyance.
“I can’t” I whispered, dropping my gaze. “She haunts my every dream, corrupting them into nightmares. I can’t sleep or breath without thinking of her.” I lift my eyes to him pleadingly, desperate for some answers. Hopeful that the knowledge would bring peace back to my tortured heart. Kane releases me, pacing back and forth exasperated.
“This right here is why you need to work alongside Dominic” he states in vexation “You let this small s**t affect you so much” he’s so lost in his own annoyance he fails to notice my rising temper.
