I stare at Kane in shock and horror, not fully believing what he had said.
“You can’t be serious” I snap out, outraged with his words.
“Oh, I'm serious pup” he narrowed his eyes, emphasizing his emotions and the weight of his words “being exposed to the prisoners will do you some good”
I clench my fists, fighting back every urge to yell and scream in his face
“I’m not doing it” I finally manage out, barely keeping my emotions under check
“Ok” he said, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly “That’s your choice”
I’m taken aback by his words, I was expecting a fight or an ultimatum of some sort but his rapid agreement has me more concerned than ever.
