I let out the most hysterical laugh at Kane’s ridiculous claim. He himself had been the one to not too kindly inform my Lycan and I we would never be able to shift. That it would be downright impossible. Yet he had the audacity to stand before us now, stone faced, boldly claiming we had shifted last night. I shook my head, anger and hurt fueling my every action at this point. Kane has done some pretty cruel things, but to try and get our hopes up over something that is impossible, it was twisted and sick, even for him.
I looked to Seth, hoping he would back me up, that he would stand up to his brother and call him out for playing such cruel games. Instead he stood there, eyes downcast, refusing to meet my gaze.
