What Jasmine learned during the next few days was that she no longer needed to get married to gain her freedom. When her father, the Sultan, returned to the palace, Jasmine informed him that it was her and her friends who had returned the palace and everyone in it. The Sultan still blamed Aladdin for bringing the genie into his palace to begin with. But Aladdin explained the role his adviser had played in all of it, and the Sultan became a little more welcoming of Aladdin and Genie.
