Chapter 13Jayden was strict about the length of her sessions in an effort to value her own time. Clients signed a contract which included a clause about not approaching her or Cam outside the counselling centre. It prevented their work from encroaching on their lives and families like a hungry ocean eroding a victimised shoreline. It didn’t always work and Cam had received unwanted female attention on more than one occasion. Also, as a member of St Jude’s congregation he often found himself accosted after the service by someone in difficulty.
