THE COMPLEXITY IN HER CHARACTER

IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS

I honestly didn't want to go to school that Monday morning but Leo told me his talking stage was coming to East High so I decided to go to you know keep my friend company and give him some tips. I walked in the busy hallway trying to phone him to know how whereabouts when she bumped into me or probably I bumped into her. I won't lie she was a ten over ten. She stated directly In my eyes for like two seconds like she could see the colour of my soul. She overed to help pick my books which was littered on the floor and I stopped her from doing that. Her friend or sister turned out to be Leo's talking stage. She had a good sense of humour no wonder why Leo Parker was obsessed with her. They both asked for the direction to the Principal's office which I gentlemanly showed them.

It was obvious we were both classmates but East High didn't admit newbies into final year classes so I already knew that they had some serious connection which means her family was also Wealthy. I couldn't wait to introduce her to my mom but why was I thinking about that. I hurriedly went to class forgetting all about Leo.

Mrs Edward knowing I am a very good poet told me to write a poem with the title invisible wall in just a short timing as she excused herself from the class. I wasn't In the right frame of mind to write so I was looking for a means to skip class. It seemed like heavens heard my prayer because Audrey walked into the class so I decided to ask her if she needed a tour around school but she accidentally poured her coffee on me. The innocence on her face left me speechless. She tried wiping it off. I still guess that was a reflex action because what was going on in her mind.

I was enjoying the moment until the devil herself walked up to us and made a scene as if we were still dating. I didn't want to say anything but she continued ranting and emptied her coffee cup on Audrey. I dragged Audrey outside to ask for reasons why she didn't retaliate but I started flirting. I even asked if I could come into the restroom with her and she told to leave her alone which I immediately obeyed.

My shirt was ruined and I also didn't want to go to class. So I went to clear my head in the field and so I could also skip Mrs Edward's class and there she was coming to keep me company I said to myself knowing it wasn't true. We started talking and at least I learnt about her relaxing mechanism and I decided to try it one day. I really wanted to ask for her number but her friend didn't give me a chance as she kept on calling her on the phone.

I finally remembered that I also have a friend who needs me too. I called him and we met in the hallway. He told that he already handled everything and confessing that Rosa is perfect. I told him about Audrey and he told me my day was even more stressful than his. We both went for lunch break only to see a crowd and not to surprised Sasha was still bothering her so I went to her desk and announced the new girl as my girlfriend. I could feel her eyes burning the side of my face as I said that but that was the only way to earn her some respect and besides I was becoming fond of her.

Such a long day and all I wanted was for the class to end so I could go and explain myself to her but on second thought I decided to sleep on my actions first so I left class before she noticed.

Believe you me I was tempted to call her or even send her a text message but I remembered her voice earlier that day saying I should leave her alone.

What if she saw me in a weird way and that was why she didn't want to get involve with me. Besides I knew I was already in big trouble with Mrs Edward so I decided to write the poem.

I was finally able to write a poem with that title but I couldn't what was missing but I just felt it was too brief and raw so I decided to phone Leo to see if he could be of help to me but as expected he was on another call who else if not Rosa. I was beginning to feel weird but he sent me a text in a short while telling me that he and Rosa are now official which left me in the single circle. I needed to do something about that if not it won't end well for me. I also hoped that Leo Parker was actually into Rosa and not that he did ask her out for a stupid dare.

Few weeks before the girls came to East High. A party was held in Evans house whereby a famous teens game ‘Truth or dare’ was played and when it was Evans turn to tell a truth about what has been on his mind. Just bro to bro, no girl was there so the circle was supposed to be safe. Evans said that the girl he had bragged to us all during summer years back was coming to our school. It wasn't a big deal we all concluded besides he was already dating sasha so what was the worse that could happen I thought until I was dared to date the girl in a minimum of five days and keep up with the act for a month, failure to do so will cost me my Christmas present from my late dad which was a bike. I obviously couldn't let that happen so I asked for the dare to be loosen a bit and I was allowed to pick a friend who will date her instead of me.

So that was the whole idea but that morning when I saw her, I must confess that it was love at first sight. He told Leo to back off saying he could handle it. Leo on the other side was already friends with Rosa so to get to Audrey but after warning him to back off he decided to focus on Rosa. This plan had better work because I couldn't forfeit my bike. Audrey, Audrey, Audrey.....
