AUDREY P.O.V
I woke up and the first think I did was to check my messages and to my surprise AJ didn't drop any message or even call. I complained to Rosa about it but I doubt she was hearing me because all she cared about was Leo Parker and I hadn't fully accepted the guy yet but he was AJ's friend so he should be nice.
Rosa woke up earlier than usual the morning and told the chef to pack food for three saying the school's cafeteria wasn't selling nice food. I immediately asked who the third person was and she started blushing which made me feel disgusted.
The school's color for day 2 was blue and white. The fact that white had to be there brought back memories of Sasha pouring me coffee and always AJ standing up for me. The thought of that made me smile like a fool while standing by the mirror and this time Rosa felt disgusted. We both agreed to wear a white T-shirt again and a blue shirt which had strapes that goes around the shoulders to the waist some call it pinafore. I must admit that Rosa's driving was pretty smooth except the fact that she refused to keep her eyes on the road.
I felt good about day 2 just that poetry was still the first subject today but this time it was a joint class so I had companies with Rosa and Naomi until Leo came and she gave him all her attention and I noticed that some of the so called brotherhood members found it entertaining which was disturbing but what was much more disturbing is the fact that an assignment was given to write on a poem titled ‘The Invisible wall' and I wasn't aware but the teacher didn't care she asked me to recite my poem saying I should have asked around.
AJ who was sitting adjacent to me volunteer to say his own poem but the Mrs Edward told him to shut up or else he'll end up in detention. I was really not in the mood to recite a poem or better still create one in such a short timing so I quickly recalled one of my favorite writings and I decided to recite that knowing it portrays all most the same meaning.
Miss Audrey Sinclair, are you ready to present your poem to the class?
I nodded slightly and walked to the front of the class. Evans kept staring at me in an I hope you disgrace yourself manner. It was really distracting so I closed my eyes and ......
THE INVISIBLE WALL
It provides a secured place, free of fear, love, haters, enemies, regrets, unsolved mysteries, unaccomplished missions, unknown desires and unseen talents.
Does it really mean security or does it just help you run away from your fears when u should be chasing them away from your zone.
It sets demarcations and makes you take a stand in the midst of unfeelable emotions.
Here you take your stand and make unsure decisions even though you are hurt by the so called solutions to your problems.
Left alone behind THE INVISIBLE WALL.
You are saved to some extent but unable to conquer your fears. Without a suitable word to explain feelings u feel but don't understand.
Would you break through this wall or remain there? So much turmoil, the heat, the pain, the regrets, the confusion, the chaos, that peace, that joy, that freedom that echoes in your head.
But remembering u r safer behind the invisible wall and not quite sure of what lurks in the world before it..
Bravo! the class clapped their hands the moment I finished reciting the poem. I felt like I was on cloud nine and now I looked back at Evans in an I didn't mess up way and then I noticed that Angelo had been staring at me like he was very very very impressed with my work. Sahsa then jealously asked what I was feeling like so I simply said that I am feeling like Merlin which made the while class laugh.
From that day on I occupied a huge space in Mrs Edward's heart but AJ still owned the heart which was kinda cringe.

It was like nature had answered my prayers by finally bringing a girl with a unique taste of writing to East High. I won't lie at first I thought she was going to mess up so I offered to say mine but from the look of things I would say she's pretty good. I wouldn't jump into conclusion by saying she's better than me but I hope to hear more of her writings. I really wanted to tell her how much I enjoyed listening to her poem but I knew she would obviously still be upset but we are in school so I had to keep up with the girl friend stuff for a week before I'll fulfill her wish and finally let her alone.
I met Leo and Rosa sitting down in the school's cafeteria eating a home made meal and I also noticed there was another one hadn't been touched and knowing fully well that it belonged to Audrey. I decided to seize the opportunity to talk to her.
Hey guys have either of you seen Audrey. She's just went to the rest room Rosa replied without even looking my direction. It was quite obvious that she was into Leo like in an obsessed way something my mom will refer to as .....
I can't really recall what my mom would have said.
I took a seat near Leo and wanted to open Audrey's lunch. That's not yours Leo said giving me this what are you up too look.
I replied him by saying he's eating Audrey's own and I'm taking his. Rosa giggled and asked Leo to let me alone saying after all I am Audrey's boyfriend so we just share it. I was almost half way with the food when I began to worry about Audrey so I excused myself from the two love birds.
I found Audrey by her locker but she wasn't alone. She was with Evans which made me jealous and also anxious. I started asking myself many questions. What if he tells her about the dare? what if he likes? what if she likes him? what if he tells her about me? I was getting furious and decided to walk up to them. On getting there Evans noticed me so he intentionally held her waist and whispered something and then walked away. She slowly turned back and saw me coming so she started walking a bit too fast. what was I thinking because she obviously didn't want to talk to me.
I called out her name which made her pause.
I asked her what her and Evans were talking about and she told me that it wasn't my business. It made me feel sad because I wanted it to be my business but I didn't want to stress it so I told her that I've been waiting for her to come eat lunch. After saying that I realized that there was no lunch because I had already eaten it which sounded hilarious. She then asked me why I came looking for her since there was no lunch.
Audrey I know I messed up big time by not dropping a message yesterday. I was just occupied but I promise to make it up to you today if you would let me. I will explain everything if only you agree to have dinner in my place this evening. She was relunctant about it but I promised not to keep her outside for too long so she agreed.
