It was a black Friday at the Sinclairs' mansion as Drake and Jake were buried that day. Everyone were dressed in black with little or no makeup. Audrey still hadn't cried. The guests dropped their flowers by the side of the cofin where the Sinclairs brothers picture was kept.
When everyone was done grieving Becca was just beginning, Mr Sinclair went to console his weeping wife leaving Audrey behind.
Everyone was drowned in pity and tears for the brothers that no one noticed when little Audrey left the scene.
The brothers were finally six feet under when Becca noticed Audrey's absent. She quickly asked Evans if he knew her whereabouts but he was dumbfounded.
Where could she have gone.
Audrey ran as fast as her tiny legs could carry her. She hesitantly removed her heels and threw them away so she could feel lighter. She finally reached her destination. She quietly stood by the sea shore watching as the current of the tides greatly increased. Finally a year dropped from her eyes down to her cheek and then another one and then it just flowed without control, trying not to attract attention to herself she wiped her cheek with the back of her tender hands. She then noticed a little girl about her age playing with a man old enough to be her dad or probably her uncle. The girl noticed Audrey and tapped the young man she was with and they both started moving towards Audrey's direction which made her scared. She quickly started running away from them and they were following her like they had a package to deliver to her.

Audrey ran so fast without looking back that she failed to realize that no one was chasing her. Just then she bumped into her mom who was running towards her direction. Ooh, my baby where are you coming from? what happened?.
Audrey just hugged her tightly saying she wasted to go home with tears in her eyes. Her mom nodded, of course let's go.
Evans and Audrey were supposed to start school in a months time but with the incident that just occured, her parents thought it wise to study their child first and concluded that she would engage in profitable home lessons and then she would join the school at the final year. They had the necessary connections and money was guaranteed so no school for poor Audrey still she turned sixteen.
At first, Audrey wanted arguing it but on second thought she realized that going to school will mean making new friends, class projects, group work and the most annoying part was that she would have to brief the class on how her summer was She didn't want to be forced to tell her story so she just concord. So now Evans was going to attend West junior high and she would be thought at home.
Becca tried brighthening her mood by telling her that her tutor was friendly and also knew how to handle children .
‘handle’, Audrey thought about that line for a sec and quickly said I'm no toy so I don't need handling. Becca brushed the comment away by telling Audrey that much fun awaits her on Monday.
Audrey soon forgot about school as she was busy playing with Evans.
Hurry up let's go Evans, his mother called out. “I'm coming ....”, he replied.
Pls do well to give us a call when you return home safely. Sure, Aunty Becca Evans said.

It was indeed a longer day and a shorter night. The knocking intensified. Ooh Audrey it's morning Nanny Peace cried out but there was no response, no answer at all. The only sound that was heard was that of a snore. How hilarious little Audrey snored so deeply and her Nanny was feeling bad to wake her up so early but it was Becca's instruction so she tried to open the door but as usual Madam Audrey always locked her room.
Typical of her Peace said as she hurriedly rushed to get the spare key.
She opened the door and walked straight to the windows tearing the curtains so that the daylight could shine on Audrey's face. She was expecting to hear the little girl groaning but to her surprise the room was as silent as a graveyard even the sound of a falling pin could be heard.
Seriously Audrey are you really doing this now, your mom is going to be here very soon now isn't a good time to play this games. Peace quietly walked towards the bathroom and kicked the door open. oooh Audrey were are you?. A tiny giggle was heard from the closet. Are you for real?. I actually thought you would have changed your hiding spot but as usual everything is dynamic except Audrey, she said with a mischievous smile on her face.
So what warrants this silly act this morning her Nanny asked her. Are you really scared about your first day in school?. No! never I wish I could go to school. Well, you are so get up let's get dressed Peace said. I wish I was but I am not going to school simply because I drifted away from the burial ceremony. So now mom believes I'm going to run away from home if given excess freedom.
Ooooh!, now I see so why don't you just assure Becca that you are not going to drift away from school. The look on Audrey's face at the sound of that was unreadable. Wait, don't tell me you would actually run away if given the chance too. I wouldn't say “run away” directly because I would come back obviously.
Well, my dear you are all your mother has. Don't do anything to hurt her ok. Besides home school isn't that bad anyways. Plus u'll be having company. Audrey's eyes gladen with joy, so The Hayes finally let Evans home school with me. No it's not Evans that would keep you company, Rosa Linn will.
This is unbelievable Audrey said with her little hands on her hair. Rosa what, she exclaimed. Sorry Nanny but who is that. well I can't say much but Rosa Linn is an orphan who lives with her uncle. So sorry about her parents, but how those that relate to me vibing with her.
Her Uncle is going to by your hometutor so she's also going to be coming with him. In other words she's my only classmate. I think I like her already at least we can both relate to something. Which is? Peace curiously asked. Death Audrey replied.
Audrey!!! Becca shouted, be down in ten minutes. Oops it's been twenty minutes already Nanny Peace said looking at her wrist even though she wasn't wearing any watch. We better hurry before your mom skins both of us alive.
With the help of her Nanny Audrey was down in fifteen minutes. She was wearing a plain short hand white T-shirt which was tucked in a blue, red and white checkers short flay skirt. Her long socks reached her knees and her black shoe was neatly polished. Her black hair fell down in a ponytail and her edges perfectly fitted her diamond shaped face. Funny how she had to dress up to attend home school. How convenient she shighed.
Awwwwwn, her mom quickly got her camera and took a shot then another and then mom. The light flashed on Audrey's face which made her blink uncontrollably. Her mom giggled, well it's your first day of school and hence you have to look like it and the pictures are simply just for memories. Let's have breakfast before Educator Josh arrives.
